Most people that have eating disorders don't stick to one schedule or way of eating, they're fighting food addiction. Those variations screw also with your guts flora based on the kinds of food you eat and adjusts itself accordingly, but eventually when you get older, your body has a harder time making those adjustments and it causes problems

Malena is fasting 23 hours a day...that's horrible. Esentially having one meal a day isn't good for you. Considering she has hip displacia losing muscle mass with her weight loss is terrible. Wish people would talk to a professional when doing extreme diets. Especially when they have the money for it.

Losing weight by having one meal a day and being in a gigantic defecit in calories isn't a healthy way of doing it. Especially when you have bone related issues like Malena does. As the supportive structure for bones is muscle.

Once again you don’t know her maintenance calories and you don’t know how many calories she is consuming in that 1 hour period or her macros, therefore you’re making assumptions to justify your pseudoscience.

If you are eating an extremely low amount of calories the body has to resort to getting the energy from other means, this means it'll start eating up fat and muscle mass. This is basic biology, it doesnt even require an extensive education to understand. This i why health loss unless in extreme cases is recommended to be fairly slow and supplimented with exercise.
