I will always recommend our favorite dive shop Tropical Divers. They have well maintained gear, and are also happy to help with a quick repair to your personal gear. Of course most every shop on the island offers rental gear.
We plan to be there next month for snorkeling. What do you do with the walking stick after entering? Although it collapses it would seem to get in the way while diving.

With that said, if you’re just snorkeling, you probably won’t need them. The extra weight and position of dive gear is what makes balancing during Bonaire shore entries difficult for many of us.
