This my my biggest tip. Don’t stress about things you can’t control. It is what it is an you can’t change that. If you need help as someone. Also another hug tip is have a group of friends to fall back on if something happens in your group. ❤
Hi Charli these year I am going into year 8 and I have some tips
1. Don’t get into drama as it is not worth and can be stressful
2. Try to be as organised as possible I recommend checking your bag before you leave for school
3. If you get a locker use it the bags are so heavy and bags if they get to heavy they break
4. On the first day bring like a book to each class as different teachers have different rules

hey charli or anyone reading this!! i’ve finished yr7. here are my tips ☺️ you may join different groups or you’re friends may join different groups ( i would recommend it, to explore friendships with others ), many of your friends will most likely move groups so try not the get jealous. try not to be late to your classes. finish all your homework in time ( you may not want to stay in at break ). don’t try to get into trouble with the teachers. be yourself if not it will be a lesson you will learn. good luck to you all starting school in the next few weeks, and i hope you enjoy. ❤
i just finished year 7 and i’ll be honest as long as you have a friend you are going to high you will probably be ok. i had one friend who i wasn’t very close with and now we are besties ❤ THE DRAMA IS REAL! mainly with pick me girls, do not be a mean pick me, and do not become friends with the “bad boys” who skateboard. the work in year 7 is pretty easy although if you are going to a private school then not (sry) public high schools as long as you put in at least 70% effort and you will be ok. the main thing is don’t be a pick me, don’t get involved with pick me’s and don’t get involved with the vapers ,more girls vape than boys tbh, (i just got to the part you say it’s a all girls school so that’s good!)

One piece of advice is to be prepared for the crowds on the corridor, it depends on how big ur school is but the corridors are always busy. Enjoy your first year at high school!
Hey Charli I am in yr 8 this year and yr 7 was definitely a great but eventful year. A few words of advice that I went into yr 7 with (that may help you) was, dont start drama, dont take anything that is offered to you (from a student), and try and block out what you hear because people will twist stories and lie to you!! Goodluck with yr 7!!
And don't trust anyone straight away. People can be so two-faced.

Hi Charli I’m going into grade 8 and a tip for you is if your teacher gives you time in class to work on assignments try and stay focused and do the most your can in class so u don’t have to do it at home and always stick by your close friends and always be nice

I’m starting high school as well in the Northern Territory and I was feeling scared to start school but once I had watched this video you made me feel so better thank you! ❤❤❤❤❤
One tip is to try and do the homework the night you get it so you know it's done and you won't have to do it on the weekend 😀
As a Former high school student few tips I would give is
1. Be your self
2. Don't get into drama
3. If you get lost on your first day ask an older student or a member of staff to help find your class
4. Help other year 7 students
5.Dont forget to say thank you to your teachers at the end of class
6. If your school gives out student planners, make sure you ask for 2 you can keep 1 at home and 1 in school bag.
7. Enjoy the last few years as school students it will go so quickly. And take in every moment .

I’m in year 8 and this advice is definitely what helps you get through thigh school! I loved it in year 7 but now in year 8 it’s literally the worst thing ever! It’s starting to get better again and we all get through it! Hope your first day of high school was good! ❤
Hi Charlie I would ABSOLUTELY! recommend printing out your time timetable if u have one and putting it on your locker because getting lost is not fun and fake people/friends are not worth your time and just remember what you learn is what your gonna take from high school rather than boyfriends and embarrassing moment so don’t stress and take your time.❤❤

Hi Charli 👋 I’m in year 8 this year and last year was my first year at a new school private school and these are some tips.
Definitely do not talk bad about people to or behind peoples backs. (Don’t make friends with people you have a bad feeling about) try to float above the drama (it sounds easy but it’s not)
Stay organised! It will help you so much!!!
Take care of your mental health high school will hit you like a bus.
Take 1-3 days a week that you dedicate to studying/homework
Decorate your locker it will make you feel happy and it just is fun to look a little pictures and things in your locker❤
And the most important one 👏 BE 👏 YOUR👏SELF👏 never change yourself for other people❤❤
Year 7 is a change but if you just follow your heart you will be happy❤

what i’m doing on these holidays for yr7 is i’m listening to asap science songs as they help me alot cause i suck at memorising the periodic table and i might need to during science and stuff! luv ya char!

For something out of school, the best thing is colour code, your timetable. The other advice is to change your laptop the night before. ❤

don’t worry I’m sure u will do great just be your self, here are some tips from a yr 9
• find a good close friend group and be nice and friendly to everyone
• the school will seem big and confusing in the start but the seniors and teachers are so nice and supportive if u get lost or confused
• don’t get stressed with homework if u have a busy week or your sick nicely explain to your teacher why your stressed or stuck
Im in Year 5 this year in September and Transition days are on Wednesday 9th July, Thursday 10th July and Friday 11th July although im a boy, this video still helped me! Thanks Charli!

Hey char! here are some tips for highschool, get a whiteboard or any type of planner to have in your room and write stuff down that you need to get done it doesnt just have to be about school but just be organised, find friends that won't pressure you to vape or smoke and find friends who will not pressure you into drama. Make sure you keep kind and if someone is being toxic or anything stand up for yourself but not harshly especially if they have tons of friends. be kind to teachers and dont let anyone get to you if anyone is being toxic or rude just kick them out of your life and dont let them get to your head if anyone is ever being rude to you just remember your thousands of friends on here that love you so much. hope this helped ^^

Hey lovely girl.
I graduated last year from an all girls school and I’ll tell you right now to STAY OUT OF DRAMA. No matter if they’re you’re friends in genuinely not worth it. I look at it like when you finally leave school it won’t matter to you, and if I’m honest you most probably won’t stay friends which is the unfortunate part. No. 2 big friend groups is a no go, try to stick with a little group, big friend groups tend to cause drama and at the end of the day talk badly about one another to other girls in the same friend group. No.3 be you! Don’t try and pretend to fit in at the end of the day it won’t make you happy. No.4 stay away from people that vape/bullies you’ll always be targeted as well from teacher because they think you’re doing it too. No.4 study study study, year 7 is pretty easier but get into the habit because it gets worse and you’ll be having 4 assessments due around the same time if not on the same day!
All girls schools can have its ups and downs. I definitely didn’t like it because I was bullied but you’ll do amazing ❤❤

here's a tip for high school xx 1. when you get your locker make a section for books and organise them.

1. finding good, LOYAL friends who don’t gossip about others is a great thing to do.
2. Be yourself, don’t let anyone persuade who you are.
3. Don’t get into any drama!!
4. Don’t feel pressured at all that you don’t have a boyfriend, you’re still so young and you have a lot of time to figure out your love life.

I just finished year 7 and going into year 8 this year here is some of my tips
1.definitely try not to procrastinate your homework and assignments it sucks but I have had to complete many assignments the night before
2.definetly don't vape its just yucky and just not good
3.I definitely didn't find joining clubs any good because their was barely any at my school but join a sport if they do have one you like.As I have made a few good friends.
4.Charge your laptop I keep mine charging all night because we can't charge our computers at school and have to get loan laptops.
5.Keep your laptop on the screen savers I put as many as I can to keep my battery life
6.Try to make heaps of friends I went from primary school to highschool with only one friend small school that's why but making friends was key for me
7. Don't listen to rumours and don't get involved in drama
8.Also try to make friends in your homeroom I don't know if your school runs the same but we have the same people in our homeroom up until we finish school and have many classes.
9. With your locker mine is small but idk how big yours is don't bother decorating it too much but make a section for your books and pencil case and your bag and keep it clean because I know a few people who had moldy food and messy lockers to clean up
10. Don't bother keeping snacks in your locker because everyone will want chocolate and take it and its expensive also its gone within two days

The straight A apart from PE is the most relatable thing
I know most of these were said but here’s my tips:
-DONT procrastinate homework, trust me!
-pay attention in class
-don’t use your phone in class!
-be honest with your friends
-don’t start drama or get involved in it
-stay organized, I recommend one big binder with folders for each subject!
-always study for tests!
-have fun!

I’m going to be honest here, as someone in year 8 drama is some of the hardest things to avoid. In year 7 everyone is trying to fit in even in year 8 so people start drama or talk bad about someone because it is cool. DONT GET IN SNAPCHAT GROUP CHATS or even have snap. Honest that’s where all the drama starts. Like I know it’s cool to have snap but I have never had it and my friend has had it for years. She is hated by half the grade for something she said on snap. It’s not worth it. Try to stay off of group chats. All of them. Even if it’s one with ur friend group. I will be honest here. U will go through times where u don’t want to show up because of friends. Friends you make in year 7 will not be the friends you keep. Getting involved in something is easy but getting out of it is impossible. I can say this as of just going through group chat fights which parents found out about and we got in sooo much trouble with parents, school, friends. It just goes on and on for one mistake u made. One of your friends, or relationships or someone will hurt you. And nothing can prepare you for that. But don’t go saying bad stuff about them, to there face, behind there back, on messages, or at all. You can walk away from the situation and always be hurt or you can forgive them and move on and have peace in your life. Sometimes being the nice person means you are always walked over, easily controlled, manipulated, so don’t full into that. You DONT need a million friends to be happy you just need a few good ones. Big groups are just fake, backstabbing, dramatic, and you will be the one blamed. So don’t get in those groups. Whatever you enjoy doing continue that. Work hard towards your goals. Focus on academic achievements, don’t listen to people who will call you names because they will Orr talk behind your back. And don’t be one of those people either. Oh and don’t get into any form of relationship until you’re at least grade ten.
As someone who has been in highschool for a couple of years I have a few quick tips.
Use the 5 in 5 rule, don’t spent five minutes worrying about something that won’t matter in five years.
Focus on your work, it’s truly the most important thing (take notes and ask your teachers for help!)

Hey Charlie I’m going into year 9 and just saying even if you are nice to people certain people will create rumours about you just because you’re nice. I learnt that the hard way in year seven- I was friends with to many fake people and there was drama everyday in our group long story short the group split up and people got legit kicked out like it was an episode of gossip girl
Even tho I’m only in year 5 i can understand all of this and my friends always get in fights which gets me to the office even in i wasn’t involved so if theres an argument just walk away its not worth the risk

I’m a year 10 and here’s some advice. I find small friends groups to be better. I was once in a big friend group and I always got pulled into drama all the time and they turned everyone against me. If something happens on school, don’t be afraid to tell teachers. I have year level coordinators and they help a lot to sort things out. And lastly do t believe what everyone says about others. They will say mean stuff about people when the person they are talking about is really nice in reality. With boyfriends be careful with who you date. I dated the wrong guy in year 8 and he turned everyone against. Be careful and safe Char. Good luck in high school
