- Umling la pass, the most awaited drive of the Ladakh series and we visited the 1st Indian village near LAC, Demchok Village. The Hanle to Umling la Pass journey is a full offroading drive that crosses through some dangerous passes, including Nurbula Top and Photi la Pass.

Were there no restrictions around flying drones in Hanle, especially around Nyoma? That used to be a no photography zone sometime back.

Did you have to engage 4wd? Could you have managed without it
Didn’t use 4wd. It was a easy climb for SN.
