    I still can't believe dane hasn't blown up yet. I thought for sure he's be over a mill in subscriber's by now. He's not even half way! We have to help him out guys for all the high quality material he continues to pump out daily for us!! 💪

      Wish I could sub twice but I guess it's just not the most mainstream sport out there... Hard to think there's better content than this out there, so either lifters don't hang out on RUclips, or there aren't that many overall.

      I definitely agree, as long as he doesn't quit he'll get there forsure. The content is too fire

      It's probably because internet lifters aren't looking to be athletic or strong. They're attracted to tiktok bodybuilding influencers.

    Dane uploads pretty consistent. Not in periodized cycled waves 😉 I'm glad i found this channel. Highly helpful

    Hey Garage strength, what's your opinion on how a footballer (soccer) should be working on in the gym? what exercises would you recommend to increase strength, speed & power?
    I love your content but it's too bad that I can only relate so much. I'd love to hear your opinion on that and hopefully post a video on it

    Could you make a video about how parabolic periodization could be used not for max strength but maybe for muscular endurance. I.e. can you use parabolic periodization for doing max number of reps for pull ups or bench press at 225?

    • @mario8833
      @mario8833 Год назад +1

      Max strenght is the base for both power and muscle endurance. I guess the difference is that instead of doing explosive movements like jumps, cleans and so on; you do like long sets of sport-specific exercises (like 2/3 sets of various minutes of rows for kayak athlete)

    Should our peak date in peak strength be the first regular season game or should it be the first playoff game for football? We only have about 3 tough opponent throughout the regular season.

    • @dkfromthebay
      @dkfromthebay Год назад

      It would be hard to realize supercompensation from periodized training during a season when actively playing and practicing so I would think you would aim to peak at the start of the season and then maintain as much of that as possible throughout.

    Pfft. This is all just a bunch of fluff. Everyone knows all you need to be an elite level ath-uh-lete in any sport is 855 on incline bench without wrist wraps for high rep sets.

      Imo it makes absolutely no difference because Iron is smarter look at futbol in Europe. People assume power or strength is less reliable this is strictly false holmes.

      @GarageStrength Arnold took roads not his training partners. If someone took roids I video taped it LIVE. He uses Moses photographs for evidence and puts his stupid gay Aussie head pasted like a Goat mechanic in Banglaores front dashboard. Get real get 🥛 bro.

    Maybe bad question, but doesn’t seem to leave much room for cardio. - as a someone a little older who is looking to get and maintain strength and athleticism, I’d be looking for 2 days of cardio per week

    I love how Dane loses his mind during every competition clip 😂. I’m surprised no one has dropped a lift because he startled them.
