For dvd/cd/blu ray discs I purged -donate, keep, throw away (ruined skipping etc) and whatever we kept, I bought a binder that had disc holder sleeve pages. 8 disc pages (4front 4back). I bought the one which holds I think 300-400 disc. And we aren’t full 🙂 I also got rid of all the cases obviously lol And now the numerous shelves we had filled with discs are now in a binder in a corner of that cabinet for all to share. Takes up 5 inches.
Purging can feel so liberating! I'm in the process of going through my makeup and skin care too. It's just so hard to get rid of stuff, especially makeup you've invested in. I've actually gotten rid of most of my personal DVD cases and put them in envelopes that makes them all able to fit in one box, but my boyfriend refuses to let me get rid of his cases too. So frustrating living with a hoarder from a long line of hoarders :P
It really does feel good to let go of items! I feel like I've been the hoarder in our house lol. My husband is happy I'm finally letting some things go. 😀
Your hair and makeup look really pretty in this video. What lipstick are you wearing? I am really enjoying your Konmari series. I am planning on doing all of this as well. My 9 year old son just did this with his closet (toys and clothes) and he did such a great job. I think that it's easier for kids to do than adults.

I have been working on my makeup collection so far because although I do not make videos it has REALLY gotten out of hand. It's better now but still not where I want it. I pretty much have been putting off doing my clothing. I started in Spring but with my kids home from school it didn't work out well because I had too many distractions. I pulled the few coats that I had in my sons closet and threw them on my closet floor and ordered a Thred Up bag..so that's a start!
