This list is amazing. I've been waiting for someone to build this. Sword of the Meek seems like the only card missing from this list. Sacrificing it over and over seems pretty amazing for Jan.
I Watch a ton of mtg content on RUclips but you’re by far my favorite. The way you explain the lines you see and the lines you could take but don’t and why, it’s just invaluable to me. I’ve learned so much from you! Keep up the great work!
I love these historic brawl videos because it shows me how I can improve my decks, i need a lot more wildcards but ive saved several already for when i get enough
Jan was probably my favorite companion în baldurs gate, I love his random stories about turnips and he looked the other way when i did evil stuff, and didnt wimp out at the first sight of a dragon like edwin
I was just thinking how much this reminds me of my cousin Gabber. Ironic name his parents gave him, since he never said a word till the day he died. Caught a case of the Tethyrian tongue gout from eating an unwashed turnip when he was but a babe. Poor little Gabber's tongue shriveled up like an honest Amnian merchant's purse. Turned him into the strong, silent type... Now where was I? Oh, that's right. Gabber. His tongue was nothing but a long, skinny piece of flesh by the time the disease was done with it. But Gabber was determined to learn to talk. He did tongue exercises and tongue stretches everyday, and his tongue kept getting longer and more nimble the more he worked with it. They say he was able to pick locks with his unusual appendage, though I never had the privilege of witnessing that feat myself. By the time he was a young man, he could flick that thing out a full two feet in front of his face and make the tip twirl like a Calim veil dancer. Too bad he came to such a tragic ending. Gabber wasn't much of a looker, you know, and he couldn't say a word with that freakishly long tongue of his. But for some inexplicable reason, the ladies loved him. In the end, that was what did him in. Nomis Stormfingers, an extremely large and jealous village smith, found my unfortunate cousin in a compromising position with Mrs. Stormfingers. Nomis reached inside Gabber's mouth, yanked that long lingua out, looped it around his throat, and strangled him with it. Lynched him with his own tongue, if you can believe it.
13:24 Kaya’s uptick here does nothing and Tasha can only protect herself. Therefore it might be a good idea to Bolt Kaya while Tasha is on the stack to prevent her from exiling anything, then you can sacrifice something to Smelter to hit her with two 3/3s
The Smelter makes 3/1s, and they will die if they are turned sideways during a turn in which Tasha upticked. She puts -1/-1 counters on the attackers, which means that the constructs cannot attack.
I think Tasha's + ability is only for attacking her or the player, so at 14:20~ you could have swung the token at kaya, saving the bolt and using the mana confluence to pay for the 1 more mana for the demon.
A humble suggestion, maybe some of those decks, specially in brawl, you should maybe try to play with your patreon(?) subscribers? Like 1 rule, no concede, some of this games would be amazing to see runing to the end, but i can understand people conciding.
If I had to update every deck with a new set release I wouldn't have time to make any new videos. But if you follow the thought process of the introduction, you should be able to figure out what cards make sense to add!
Added Sword of the Meek to the decklist in the description. Repeatable sacrifice fodder provides a lot of value!
The Legion always provides!
My god! THAT IS TRUE!
Yarr, we've spotted value off the starboard bow captain!
Cap'n*
Jkjk

Good call!

I appreciate that!
I stopped playing Arena months ago but you're the only Arena channel I still watch, mainly for the historic brawl content
I love these historic brawl videos because it shows me how I can improve my decks, i need a lot more wildcards but ive saved several already for when i get enough
This deck is amazing!!!! Seriously awesome job Luca! It looks so fun to play! I'll have to make this now! 😊

Thank you very much for your wonderful gameplay, master LegenVD.

I was hoping to build this deck in Arena, but Idk how to start. And you make one! I really love your content! Thank You.
Jan Jansen in January. Good thing this video didn't come out next week.
Yet another lovely series of gameplay. Great ❤
I treasure your daily videos

@@Bilias123 ethnically speaking, yes! I actually just named my first born son Wolfgang
Brawl is so fun to watch. You never know what your opponents deck is bringing
Thank you for building this deck without Paradox Engine! Such an obnoxious card to play against
6:25 i laughed so hard, that was sneaky well played XD

@@ftrollman Read Tasha again. I said attack Kaya not Tasha.
40:30 lethal Monkey’s Paw! I like tricks like that.
no anvil + sanguine brushstroke makes me a little sad but that's okay - ty for the great content!
Generally try to avoid Alchemy cards.
@@LegenVD ah gotcha!

🤓
that's such a Tasha thing
Now we have Karn here, who will provide us with some Karn advantage and make us some Karnstructs. xD
At this day I'm still not sure if, whenever Karn shows up, you say "Karn advantage" instead of "Card advantage"
He says karn advantage as a little joke i believe. He also said "karnstruct"
Yeah that’s the common community term for this Karn’s effects
A new HB video? Today's a good day 👍🏻
My name is Jan Jansen I live in Wisconsin, I work in s lumber mill there
Transmogrant's Crown would be a really nice card draw engine in this deck.

There can only be one jan Michael jansen
I keep hearing the American pronunciation of this commander in my head: "Jayn Jayn-son"
Kailain works so well with marionette master
Wow, welcome to value town
Dis he say, that the 4 Mana Planeswalker can generate Karn Advantage and make Karnstructs?
Yes.
@@LegenVD nice one! Love your sense of humour mate 😂
Though it is a one time effect i still think scrap for treasure is an amazing add
Now we only need clock of omens on Arena so we can go infinite!
Imagine all the clicking ;)
A card made especially for you, I feel; we all know how much you love alliteration ;)
Would paradox engine with aetherworks marvel be good to add??
Since you need to dedicate so many cards to making Energy, I don't think it would work very well.
Is the Treasure Vault too damaging for the mana base?
I think so, three colors is hard enough as it is.
Would Dollhouse be good here? You're putting stuff in your graveyard and making Construct tokens.
Should you update this list will all new cards
If I had to update every deck with a new set release I wouldn't have time to make any new videos. But if you follow the thought process of the introduction, you should be able to figure out what cards make sense to add!
Needs Blood Money. Blood Money and Dragon Spark is fun.
FINALLY! I have a red black artifact standard deck I loved but haven’t found a way to translate it to historic brawl. This will help!!
Why not midnight reaper instead of morbid opportunist?
Because of the whenever a "nontoken" creature you control dies part of the card
"Karn advantage" and "Karnstructs" 😂😂😂
31:40 could just hit them for 4 and sac 10 permanents to Bolas Citadel too
Match 5, I just don’t get this mentality. Dude isn’t blocking with the birds, but dude isn’t attacking with the birds. Why have them at that point?!
40:34 damn imagine scoping on turn 4 to a tutor. Why even queue?
opponent match 2 should have played the shield side
Just delaying the inevitable
Ok 🍒😃
