Even tho some of these are already considered more like newer osu maps and songs I'm still feeling really nostalgic towards that 2015/2016 era when I just started playing osu back in school. It's just this reminder of a simpler time with fewer worries where I'd come home and either play league or osu while being in skype calls with friends for hours on end until we went to bed. Now me as well as most of my friends are about to move out of our parents homes, live with their partner, go to uni or start their first jobs out of school. Most of us are still playing games while talking over Discord most of the time but these upcoming big life decisions and changes just make me wonder how long this will last for. We're all growing up and becoming adults and I'm left wondering what's to come. It's both scary and exciting to think about our future and how it's gonna be in the next 1/2/5/10 years down the line. Sorry for the rant, I don't know why exactly all this came to my mind while listening to some osu music mix. But I guess I'm thankful for this video because it really just showed me that when I'm older I'll probably look back to this time as a teen / young adult with nostalgia, a smile on my face and thinking that these were definitely the goold old times.
thought id give everyone an update on osu! mix 10, i made it today and uploaded it, youtube blocked it in all countries, i removed the blocked songs and tried some new ones, the songs were only blocked in japan but youtube still blocked the video worldwide, so fuck youtube im not doing it a 3rd time. if anyone knows how to get around songs being blocked worldwide please let me know. the songs in question were (cheer up, my dearest, kimi no pierrot, akatsuki zukuyo) which you can find on youtube uploaded by people without the copyright permission so i dont know what my problem is???? anyway bottom line is #10 aint happening rip
