    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    'Channel Zero' Lyrics
    [Canibus]
The location is planet Earth //
The time and date is nineteen, ninety-nine, December thirty-first //
    Eleven fifty-nine, P.M. //
The anticipation of what I think's about to happen got my heart beating //
We got less than a minute left, before, the planet Jupiter //
is united into a star //
I know it sounds bizarre, but it's mathematics //
A specific sign for some of the planet's inhabitants //
Those who understand, know what I'm saying is accurate //
Our country is corrupt, from the president to the cabinet //
In the year two, followed by three o's //
    The space probe Galileo //
Will welcome us all to channel zero //
    [Canibus]
The secret of the ages, I illuminate with logic //
What I speak is more than just deep; it's bottomless //
With common sense, I'm organized like crime and mafias //
Plus the way I rhyme is prime, like Optimus //
A rapologist, you could sit and do the knowledge with //
From G.E.D.'s, to degrees, from Ivy League colleges //
I politic with any magazine columnist //
About topics other emcee's won't even bother with //
Rock solid shit like stones and monuments //
It's obvious the third eye of the obelisk is watching us //
[Closely,] through a microscope and a pair of binoculars //
Ghetto scholars like me, who study street calculus //
I utilize every letter of the Arabic alphabet //
To touch a part of your body that makes you feel erogenous //
The key to knowledge, is guarded by angel locksmiths //
Who travel across the Universe, in flying objects //
Secrets deadly to man, is dioxin //
We sparring with God, our arms are too short to box with //
Four thousand years before Christ, in the times of Pharaoh //
    Welcome to Channel Zero //
    [Canibus]
    Yo //
Dangerous minds, manufacture dangerous rhymes //
Signs from revelations predict, perilous times //
In the year two-thousand, the planets will be in alignment //
Only the wisest, will survive it //
The Earth will experience, a sudden change in climate //
Killing many organisms in our environment //
The earthquakes destined to happen in California //
Will trigger the Brevard Fault in Atlanta, Georgia //
The collapse of roads, bridges, and buildings //
The death, of millions of innocent civilians //
The Freemasons will control the nation //
But you don't hear me though, [it's the information] //

Everything he said happens all the time.."never happens doe" is my new favorite phrase so thanks for that.. can someone tell me what happened during the battle with Eminem; it's funny that Eminem got "discovered" by Dr.Dre and the whole world now knows "my name is" instead of asking questions about humanities enslavement.. I agree, this guy would have been a threat if he had a platform larger than when slim anus got.

There were a lot of well-read/educated 90's mcs putting intellect and knowledge into the music; which is why it became a threat and had to be corporatized and controlled in order to control the content-and its influence upon youth; hence the garbage you see today and the millenial hip-hop culture of 4 letter mumble trash

Anyone who does research with true skepticism (that includes an open mind) will find out that its already been exposed by trustworthy credible sources that we do in fact have secret space programs with advanced technology and colonies on other planets. There are also visitors from other civilizations on other planets that we as a planet with people from shadow governments (secret compartmentalized parts of governments, military and the intelligence community, NASA and even private companies such as defense contractors) are in contact with.
They (those that are in the innermost circles) have kept the truth from the general population but have now lost control of the information about all their secrets. All thanks to the new 'Gutenberg Press' invention - The Internet !

Songs like this show you how good Canibus really is, half of the words in his lyrics dont really rhyme when you look at them, but he was able to make them rhyme through flow, truly superb

@JRY17 In Sagan's case, the Drake equation was a strong motivating factor for his interest in environmental issues and his efforts to warn against the dangers of nuclear warfare. Yes he used the Drake equation, but he technically used his own variant of it which would imply that he did not believe(agree with) the original Drake equation circa his original claim 1966.

Canibus is one educated dude and this song is very creative. Some of his rap songs are 10 minutes long...something that not a lot of rappers can do.

This song is more relevant now then ever before. I always think of this song as technology progresses. He was right, the issue at hand is how our country is being bombarded by software algorithms such as Facebook and they are work based on negative feedback loops which you can see their effect today on society. We are so divided more than ever before.
This time I am serious people........please tune into channel zero before it's to late.

trooperjoe, I'm glad I saw your comments because I agree with you. sometimes I have to shut down conversations with people that follow the bandwagon of mainstream music because they think i'm hating. LL got roasted for real. Canibus always comes hard, its his producers who have messed things up for him.

I used to skip past this song on the album when I first heard. It was a case of a hip-hop fan not being used to an orthodox style. I have learned to appreciate the deep songs by Canibus. Production is the only thing that's held him back throughout his career.

the millions he talks about is more on a spiritual level people.... its like 2012 won't be the end either, it's just all about major mindshifts... (n dun forget the wars we have had since 2000 ... ... media war, mental war, physical war, ...) either way, canibus, still got it on tape somewhere, when of the first things in hiphop that trully gave me the chills, rhymewise n beatwise...
