So true. Back when I took a photography course I felt like I lost my passion. All the technical aspect just took away the joy I used to have from walking around with my camera and shooting with no consideration of right or wrong. This was the best.
Thanks again for another down to earth approach. I got my first camera in 1954, so from the timeline I am not really a beginner😅. But I enjoy to take a fresh look at my photography every now and then, be it starting to explore a new genre or a new camera or unknown places. Or just taking a step back and reflecting my approach, ideas, thoughts and feelings. This is when your advice is a valuable guideline…
You have a beautiful new way for my point at this video. It is so inspiring talking to a photographer like you and I'm deeply appreciative your insights. I wonder how did you learn using a camera in 1954 long before the internet.. All the best my dear friend 🙏🏻
Good advice. I must admit never went on a course and learnt through trial and error and of course lots of practice. In fact I am still learning as you nver stop discovering something new and exciting in photograghy.
How true, how true! "Beginner courses" are far too complicated, too long and take the joy out of photography. Exploring things yourself makes you much more curious about understanding and using the camera as a tool.
„…The best way to learn photography?“ Well, I would say: Learn the basics of photography (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, composition, colour…). That’s enough at the beginning. Having a concept is key. Follow your intuition, don’t look at other photographers and simply go out to photograph what you like.
I feel like this is some solid advice. Don't think I've ever heard any other photography channels here on RUclips say this. Keep up the dope content! #YupYup
Learn the basic how the Camera works in manual mode, not auto. Then try different semi-auto if you have a camera that handles that. Taking a photo, being creative and learn the golden rule, get an interesting photo.
What do you think is the best way to learn photography? Tell me in the comments 📸
Take your camera out with you on a walk, take photos, learn from this , and have fun
Perfect! Thanks for this comment 😄
