But I was looking for versatility like yourself. The ability to haul bigger items when needed!. And It still keeps the sport truck theme while providing a secure cargo system. I kinda look at Ute's as this..."If your buying a small ute...tub based, use it as a ute!. If not, buy a wagon....like everest etc . Good choice mate!
Only con is the room the rolltrack itself takes up, but I look at it like "how much gear do we really need on a 3 day getaway up the beach?". Kind of makes you realize in a good way, you don't need the kitchen sink !
Nice look bro. I have the xterrain Isuzu (standard roller top) and don’t know what the height of the tub is on the raptor but I specifically bought the ARB 60 ltr fridge because it’s low and it happens to fit the fridge on a slide perfectly under the roller. Just a suggestion.🤙
My boy just picked up his Raptor on Saturday. The black looks unreal. Thanks for putting up great content on the vehicle so he can look at all the mods you do. However, he will have to plan those as his bank account has run dry. I cant see him taking it off road at this stage as he was worried about taking it out in the rain. After seeing his one and driving it around the Shire (he only let me drive it for 10 minutes) I am very tempted.
This is such a good looking truck. I'm debating giving up my gen 2 f150 raptor for this truck now that it's here in the states. I've always preferred smaller trucks. I just don't know I could stomach the loss of value trading my truck in.
I am toying with an idea of having a small electric blower or something that draws air in the front from the outside that creates a positive pressure to keep dust out which you can switch on when you get on a dirt road. Wonder if someone has done this...
EGR ROLLTRAC biggest mistake I made, installed on Raptor Gen 1. Kept on locking me out off the tub. Vendor tried for years to fix the issue, even replacing the whole system, but this did not fix issue. Eventually the locking mechanism on the rolltrac was disabled, limits disabled and the locking pins was cut, and latest firmware was loaded. No why this will lock you out of the tub again. After this another failure, apparently the drive pin failure. Next stop is the tip
The egr unit looks like a neat option to live with every day. I’m looking at the Arb load lid or the bloody expensive Utemaster option. Like the idea of swags on top of the tub given how bulky they are.
Awesome, as always 👏... I know you've put up the EGR Rollatrac... I have been considering the UTE Master load lid, but I have yet to see any reviews on the Raptor specifically. Would you know anyone who has such an install you could briefly feature on one of your next vids?
Looks like a nice bit of kit, Ty. I did have a soft tonneau cover on my raptor but recently, thieving scumbags slashed it thinking there might've been something inside worth stealing. Might upgrade to one of these.

Awesome specs on this raptor. Does the horn always go off when closing roller shutter? would get annoying after a while. This and the ford factory roller shutters both waterproof?
Nice roller cover, looks very neat, how does the 90kg go with a RTT, these weigh around 70Kg, so does this mean you can't use the tent unless you weigh under 10Kg ?, Raptor looks great except for those Amber foglights, surely you could implement them into the front end better, they look like a set of ears.
These are a dynamic rating ( when vehicles moving ) so sleeping once it’s stopped should be fine I think. Ears 👂 😂 I’ve spent to much time in US 🇺🇸 Ditch lights are big over there.
@@TyFenwick Just checked their website, the weight limit is rated to 90kg Dynamic, 350kg static (T Tracks 300kg), that's a decent amount, Mate, you got to get rid of those ears 😂, have you looked into underbody rock lights, these look fantastic in Amber, now RGB is all the rage, this would make your black beast ❤look crazy at night, especially in Amber or Red 👍
The ks Ty, I wanted to install the Utemaster Load Lid on my NextGen Raptor but now looking at this or the Mountaintop EvoE. What material is used on this one? I have a mate who had.a black unit and the cour dulls and scratches to the silver if there is grit in the roller over time..
I think this is way better then mountain top one. This is alloy powder coated black and I’ve seen a few that have been installed for a while and they haven’t faded
Question/concern: Is the "open from keyfob" manageable/changeable? If it's raining and I've got stuff in the bed that I don't want to get wet, I don't want it to open everytime I unlock...
Just curious how your leather seats are holding up? Over here in the states I’m seeing some new Ranger Raptors starting to have the leather become wavy pretty soon after purchase?
Looks good, I have a hsp roller shutter on my ram 2500,fit and finish great but irrespective of the brand be interested in your experience with dusty roads……they do not like dust….🫣

The EGR option you can run a platform using rails to carry swags. Then take it off when not in use but still having a roller shutter.

Way better for protecting your gear mate, plus it locks with car fob as well.

Yes mate Utemaster reached out to me and they make a great product but it just wasn’t what would suit my needs best.

No that’s not in relation to rollershutter that’s a ford thing when you try to lock it the cars horns reminds you it’s locked already

It only opens when you double click. So just click once for doors, twice for shutter.

Yes I can’t see you having any issues when it’s static. I’m guessing you’re thinking about sleeping up there.

I believe the wildtrak is a mountaintop but don’t quote me on that.
How is the dust Seal and the water? Is there any leaks?
EGR have a dust kit I’m waiting to get. It’s on back order at the moment. Will be coming up in future videos on the channel
I have this EGR roller track on my gladiator since I bought the jeep never works!! Hundreds of times they try to fix never fixed!!

Why did you go with this brand over mountain top?? Looks just as clean and flush and has more load bearing
Mountain top doesn’t come close to the fit and finish of the EGR. I looked at all shutters and this one was best in my opinion.

Well depends what you need the bed for ? That’s space for me Il never use so the pros outweigh the cons of small space it takes up
