RTE are a disgrace for not showing this great game.. Limerick play terribly in the first half and it has finally caught up with them. Well done to cork a deserved victory but we will be back.
I think once Limerick dominance and reign comes to an end and it's very soon i think myself Cork and Clare will become the Kingpins of Munster Hurling.

A good honest manager, didn't complain about the umpire giving the cork goalie the ball for the quick puck out, the cork players constantly fouling cian lynch and getting away with it and Kyle hayes getting fouled in the family jewels and nothing done about it, but this will wakeup limerick and revenge is always sweet.

A great game of hurling but a few controversial decisions by the referee again. The rule Clearly states after a score you must wait for the referees whistle yet Cork were allowed to puck the ball out as the sliotar was going over the bar. Gillane’s disallowed goal why was there no advantage when the referee clearly knew he was the last line and had a clear goal chance if he won possession. Cork were offered advantage all day. Then there’s the amount of steps the cork forwards are taking with the ball Kingston and Colman in particular. I counted 2 lots of 9 steps for a Colman score. Seamus Flanagan being mauled by the corner back clearly on the replay in front of the camera and yet it was 2 yellows instead of one for the corner back. Fair play to cork for the win but As good as Limerick are I don’t think the GAA are going to allow them to win the 5 in a row that’s what it looks like from a neutral side of things
After how that tinker Gillane got a penalty that should have been a free out last year in the GG and how a Will O'Donoghue throw ball that resulted in another goal was allowed same day you're in no position to be whining. Joe Canning showed how all 3 goals Limerick got in the game should never have been allowed and you'd have been out of the championship so quit your bellyaching.

Good result for the championship and well deserved for Cork. Its amazing how limerick seem to start so slow, generally hurl for half a game and still usually win. Looked like they had done it again....but not this time. I imagine they will start faster v waterford. Their backs seem to have slowed down a bit, teams can run at them with more success now. All the success has been built on a solid defence up to now. Maybe a few cracks starting to appear....but still favourites for munster and all ireland. Cork well in the mix if they beat tipp....and should do if they play like they have so far.
