The lord kept pressing into my spirit and trust him

Is God real or a social construct? Ive been trying to seek and connet with Him lately. Ive always been a harmless human, decent and civil. Respecteing of others and wishing i can give back to community. But as a result of mental health issues, ive been rejected by Christians, ive been condemned, and judged, whilst half and a quarter of times I'm always indoors of a 20 something year old...but somehow I've always grown lonely and rejected. Lately feeling defeated. Is religion real or we should just accept it is some self-soothing technique and social construct😔😒😏
