Amen to that comment my friend 👋, my mom has an album by this awesome group!!!! I loved to hear those gospel albums that she would play on Sunday or any other day of week especially if she was sad 😢 about something. Now that I am an adult, I love to listen to those songs like that. Take care of yourself and your family during this coronovirus pandemic 😷 ok. Much love from Bunn NC.💖👋😊. Be blessed and safe ok 🙏.
@@belindacarter1285 Awwww, that comment is so beautiful!!!! Thanks for that, that really warms my heart 💖. God bless people like you 🙏 with a beautiful soul!!!! I've received posts that were rude, disrespectful and racist!!!!! Someone named Hallokyden posted me and had the nerve to say " Nobody wants to hear your life story" I'm still pissed about that post, I wasn't even posting to this idiot 😡 I was posting to someone else. By the way, my cousin used to date a young lady named Belinda 😀😀😀. She was so sweet, I have not heard from her since they broke up. And that was back in the day 😀. I'd like to hear from her or see her.👍. But anyway check out that post I was telling you about ok?!!! Jack Casey sent me straight up racist posts, so I deleted his nasty, racist ass posts 😒. Bastard!!!! Take care of yourself my dear friend 👋 and I hope to hear from you soon ok?!!! Much love from a true friend 👋♥️.
This song reminds me of when I was just a little boy and were living on 401 Speed Street. In those days Mama and Daddy were still alive. This song would come on the radio on Sunday evenings. Mama would be in the kitchen cooking Sunday dinner. What good memories.
The original version brings back so many memories; our house on Speed Street and the music playing Sunday evening after church; my mother in the kitchen cooking.
I know what you mean, for us it was when momma was in the kitchen cooking breakfast just before church. God knows I miss those day.. My grandmother would sing along with momma and daddy😊.
Amen to that comment my friend 👋. That voice makes the hairs on my neck stand up he sounded so good!!! My mom has an album that she bought years ago, before I was born. My mom is 80 years old now and a breast cancer survivor 👍😊💖. Rest in peace 👼 Hardie Clifton. Take care of yourself and your family during this coronovirus pandemic 😷 ok. Much love from Bunn NC.💖👋😊.
Every Sunday morning before the church bell rang. Cube steak, scrambled eggs, rice and gravy and the Brooklyn All-stars. I miss family in this way. The word of God blasting out of all the homes as we walked to church.
This kind of singing make think about my mother, she loved to hear Hardie Cliffton sing, The Brooklyn All Stars always visited Milwaukee years ago, I wish we had more quartet groups singing like this, I remember the music wouldn't be loud and you could hear the singers without being over power with the music, I miss the days of The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Pilgrim Jubilees, Willie Banks, Willie Neal Johnson, Soul Stirrers etc.
Girl you better hush your mouth😄..I know what cha talking..I remember growing up listening to those same gospel groups. They would come to our churches in NC and have concerts in the evenings, Lord I couldn't wait to get to the church😄.
This is 1 of my favorite songs that takes me back to my childhood on Sunday mornings when mom would have the gospel radio station turned up loud as she cooked breakfast for us. And to this day when I hear this song, I can't help but to shed tears because it describes just how my parents left this earth. They are so dearly missed but I know that 1 day, my siblings and I will see them again R.I.P. Mom and Buddy. (Jeanette & Wiley Thomas).
