You both did great! As an Art teacher, I am so excited to see you guys try this. Keep trying, maybe get slightly better paint. I don’t know what art stores you have there, but just a basic craft paint would be so much better.
The more you practice the easier it will become. Look on Pinterest for ideas.

finaly my East Asian Art History degree comes in handy! 😅 JJ has a really fascinating way to paint (even tho it is not "abstract", as abstract paintings theoretically do not depict objects) and sam's frog looked so cute! 😁
Sam and JJ are so underrated I really love their comfortable, casual and fun style of vlogging. They deserve more recognition it's so relaxing and comfortable to watch them
You both won! If you ever try this again, consider using watercolour paints, which will be easier to use on drawing paper. As far as talents go, you both have an impressive one - video editing!
