Tanner, this is in my opinion possibly the best video you have put out to date. This track, your “hometown track” and your 6th place finish shows EXACTLY where you are with your racing career right now. I believe this is where you should be running EVERY week they race there until you are winning, or taking the podium every week on a constant basis. Then start going across the Country racing on/at the “well known” tracks and/or running with the Outlaws. This is what I grew up watching Sammy Swindell doing at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, Ar until Sammy was simply blowing away the competition every week. If nothing else, you will become more comfortable and more confident with driving ability in your sprint car whether it is the 360 or the 410. As usual, this is just my opinion. Best of luck Tanner…
Hey I appreciate your advice and compliments on the video! We would love to race at this track every week! Unfortunately most the tracks in our area don’t run sprint cars weekly / most the season. This track had 1 410 race this year, and 2 360 races for the whole season. The rest are limited Sprint shows. If they ran more we would be there!
@@TannerHolmes - I understand that. It takes a lot of money for some Tracks to put on an Event. I have been fortunate to have several Tracks within an hour or so drive that at least run 360s every week. Usually once or twice a year the Outlaws will come to town and we get to see 410s. Keep being you and keep your positive attitude. Experience takes time…
Tanner Awesome run.....keep up the hard work.... enjoy your videos...that WIN is really close. Looks like the new car was a blessing in disguise....keep up the hard work...we will see you at Thunderbowl raceway in Tulare soon.....DUECES...
Yep yep that looked like a great run. I'd have to say that chassis looks to me like it agrees more with the 410 than your other one the one that broke the tube in Tulare(I think) I'm looking forward to the videos for the rest of the weekend. Thank you much Tanner for sharing this video with us have a good one and have fun take care
Looking better every time you get on the track I also agree it kinda looked like the car was rolling over alittle on the right rear but not so bad that you couldn't drive it. Great job staying in top ten, anxious to view the rest of the weekend !!!
i can totally relate to your feelings about your home track and having a ton of friends and family and sponsors especially .we just experienced that ourselves yesterday and was lucky enough to get fas Q and win race and with supporters there,in your hometown good runs are just sweeter! good job kiddo!
Tanner just discovered your videos, I've really enjoyed them all, and then now to discover your from S.O. I will always be a fan of yours. I'm from eagle point, have followed races here for many years, hope to see you back down this way again someday. You rock, and you do very good at narrating your videos I really enjoy that part too. Thank you 😊
Wow what a run, winning your heat race then finishing in the top 10 in the feature. You couldn't ask for a better night except finishing 1st but other than that you couldn't ask for a better run.
Enjoyed the show. It looked like the car wasn't "outstanding" anywhere on the track. Other guys were coming off of 2 quicker but you were able to accelerate and keep your position down the backstretch. Fun to watch Tanner.
was awesome seeing you at willamette speedway on friday, glad you saw my ig story too. idk if you’ll be at cottage grove father’s day weekend but i’ll be there too
Great race tonight Tanner! I am looking to get into dirt track racing what would you recommend starting out with? Good luck next weekend and stay safe!
Tanner if you look at the very last clip 15:06 look at Scelzi's car and your car his is down on the left rear, you might try to block you car different maybe run a tie down in the left rear or raise the right front should help with getting out of the turn with more speed and more speed down the straight
Good run, Tanner, but it didn't seem like you were getting full RPM's out of your engine. Keep going and you'll start getting the wins. God Bless and stay safe.
Young man, lets be honest...u almost had to be a cowboy out there as all u were doing was riding a bucking bronco that was ready at every second to throw you. That track looked soooo damn rough! Your forearms must have been sore after that one! Good run, could have been wrecks galore...when u got in the less bumpy groove u had power! 6th not bad on a track that had little to no passing whatsoever!
Tanner , I want you to read what I am saying carefully and watch how I see this and am telling you about it. Watch the video from the camera over your left shoulder at quarter speed. Look at the front wheel movement in relation to the inputs you are giving to the wheel. Also look at the movement of the steering arm in relation to the steering wheel input. At times I see zero steering wheel input and significant movement of the front wheels left and right. I do know the steering box is a VERY fast ratio. It seems there is an inappropriate amount of front wheel movement left and right based on the amount of steering wheel input you are giving the car. I hope this make sense?
These cars have a steering box similar to their rear end and it has a torsion rod in them and that causes the tires to bounce left to right even when not turning but you do not notice it while driving
Oh yeah , this is gone to be a good car for you for sure . You were just one adjustment away from wining ( Kurt Bush ) lol It's in there you got to find it .....................

It was obvious joy you had in racing the 410's at your home track. Solid racing by you and a good confidence builder as the season progresses.

Definitely need to work on those 👍🏻
Ayyy I’m first again!
