i remember last week thinking there's like 20 games left he'll prob get it and three games later.. now i surely expect him to stretch the record to 15 and what an accomplishment that would be: leadoff homer in over 9% of your games. shoot i wouldn't be surprised to see him get to 17 at this point. dude is fire.

Maybe it is just me, but the pitchers don’t look the same when JT isn’t playing. Nothing against Stubbs, he is much better than I will ever be, but there is definitely a notable drop off from JT to him.
JT does a much better job calling games except when Sanchez is pitching. I will say JT’s framing has been terrible these last 2 seasons, he really regressed there
The Phillies are not going to go far with Ranger Suarez in the playoffs. Right now they have Wheeler and Nola and Sanchez , enough for a short series , if they have to go seven games Suarez will be their Achilles heel.
Ranger and Chris is getting hit hard in pitches below the zone and also allowing so much soft contact. I'm still hoping they are better than their ERA shows.
Thomson will need to carefully manage the pitching the rest of the way with Nola's inconsistency, Ranger's slip in velocity, 5th starter problems, and Walker. But all teams deal with this stuff.
@@thejorobal I’m just saying in general. Before the throw even got away and he went home he should have been sent. He was running full steam and unimpeded he could have easily made it home. During the playoffs last year dusty held some guys up and we ended up losing the game when they could have won it or stopped the team from tying it up.
