I completely disagree with the city just focus on technical ability take it’s completely wrong. City at there best have 6’4 haaland 6’0+ Rodri and then have 3 tall big centre backs (sometimes 4). They had de bruyne looking like a tomato from pressing and Bernardo silva who doesn’t stop running. They’re as physically good as they are technical. Hence why arteta has tried to be similar, however he’s now gone a bit overboard and needs another midfielder to get on the ball and progress the ball. City when they’ve not been as good (19/20 and this season) have looked physically off it and there midfield when they come up against any sort of pace gets ran through. I.e as soon as baleba comes on yesterday they had no answer. They won the treble not by just passing the ball better,they won it because they could bully you as well.Hence why they battered Madrid that season and with there 100 point team they got bounced by a physically better side in Liverpool. Arteta just hasn’t been able to get the balance between the physical side and technical side which is what will cost him his job eventually.
