A friend of my mother, was at Chatsworth house on a visit and spoke to the guide saying the woman in a white dress had said she had a message for a "Name given", person who was downstairs. The guide went pale and said that the "White Lady", was only seen rarely, but it was believed that her being seen was lucky. That was in 1964, she wasn't the sort of person to make things up, was a god fearing woman and was married to one of the church wardens at our local church. We went on one of your early ghost walks and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Life is energy and when its taken, especially in fear, I believe it remains behind. This is why the airlines had to STOP cannibalizing parts from planes that crashed. The people knew they were going to crash and there was nothing they could do about it and the amount of fear inside those planes was beyond description and the human energy is imprinted upon the stones or other metals that surrounded these people.

Jesus said, "If mankind fails to praise God, even the rocks will cry out". That verse has always fascinated me. I keep thinking, "What are the rocks recording?"..
That Victorian lady wasn't evil looking, she was just very old and wrinkled, that's all.

I worked in the Jorrocks in 1982. The young bar manager at the time wouldn't stay in there on his own after service to sort the cellar out, he always wanted the staff to wait. The cellar hatch was where the bar staff stood to work and he'd had instances of being alone down in the cellar when everyone had gone and heard footsteps up in the bar and the sound of rolling barrels. He was genuinely terrified and left the job fairly soon.
