- Sharing my personal experience after i received a Duplicate Fish Food from Amazon India.
Two months back i had purchased Hikari fish food from amazon and after opening the product i was shocked and disappointed by the product delivered to me.
Had already heard from a lot of sellers about duplication of many aquarium fish food happening in India but never imagined it could be really true.
A lot of aquarium fish hobbyists buy fish food for their aquarium fish from amazon india and none of them might be knowing the reality behind the product they are getting.
After receiving the product i tried to investigate about it through a local aquarium fish shop owner and then with the official agent of hikari fish food.
I had also mailed the product pictures to hikari official email address and after receiving their response email i came to the conclusion that the hikari fish food product i received was duplicate.
It cannot be wrong to say that such duplicate fish food are being sold on amazon india from a long time and nobody tried to figure it out.
I thought of sharing this incident with you all so that you can learn from my experience and be alert next time buying any aquarium food.
Next time do think twice before buying anything from amazon and also inspect the product delivered.

Sir this product is non refundable and almost 30 % product on Amazon are fake . Similar case happen with me and all my fish got dead .some seller are fraud. It is better to go for local market fish food or from Kurla market
File a complaint to Amazon bro. They will remove the seller from the list.

Yes it is non refundable and i have also mentioned it in the video that it is non refundable. But i received a full refund and i also showed that screenshot of the refund mail from Amazon executive.
You should show the screen shot of the Amazon seller so that we can stop shopping from these sellers

@@SJInceptions yes bro, I didn't recommend online purchase foods, bcoz once I buy turtle food, I doubt on that product as the smell is different from my regular use local market product....so need strict action against these

There may be risk in other products too which are very cheaper.

Amazon has to take action against the seller. It's not Amazon who sells directly .
Firstly, even after my complaint Amazon haven't taken any action against the seller.
Secondly, Amazon is the medium. It's their responsibility to check and give permission to only genuine sellers.
Who was the seller ? Let others also stop buying from that seller . As on Amazon same product is being sold by multiple sellers.
There are two many fraud sellers on amazon who doesn’t accept returns. As you maintained in this video , I also had a similar kind of issue. I ordered tetra turtle food from amazon and I noticed that it’s going to expire very soon. So I contacted amazon and I got the similar solution like you got. Amazon India doesn’t care about there reputation ?
Yes. You cannot return or get refund on food items. But in my case i got a full refund and i also shared the screenshot of the refund mail from Amazon executive.
I never trust online buying foods for my fishes and cats.
But this time i wanted to buy fish food online but thanks to you for making this video😊

I think everybody who received such duplicate products need to come together and file a case. Because a single voice is not enough to stand against a renowned name like Amazon. If every one unites and raise their voice against this duplication activity then something can happen.

Just so you know Amazon asks for return for only those items that can be resale , any items like food products, personal items they don't take it back as it is of no use to them . Rather it will be an additional cost to them to get it picked up by their agent , it will take up their storage and also disposition of it comes with huge cost. AGAIN MY POINT IS NOT THAT , THAT THE FOOD YOU WAS NOT A COUNTERFEIT. It is sad that people hv started making these heneios crime to our loving pets.

Cloudtail is well known seller . If he does something like this then it's really bad. I have always ordered fish food on Amazon .. now need to think seriously.

Brother pls suggest me one thing ... i bought 8 inches silver arowana last week ...its good and healthy ... actually the problem is... fish is eating only live food ... small zebra fishes ... not eating even blood worms also ... how to train him to eat normal dry foods ... becoz feeding him daily live fish is not possible all the time ...

Even I got same package but it had label . But it was duplicate coz my arowana throw it out , n once I mixed with other sticks n it became sick. I hAd to dispose all packet once my Pleco also eat n had bloated. Thanks for advice

Hi bro I received package from amazon for hikari food sticks and I have observed difference between previous sticks and the ones I bought from amazon. Smell looks good though. I have emailed to indus marketing pune and they confirmed its original product but color looks different bro and my fishes are not readily accepting them.

I wonder Y the duplicate manufacturer did not make the label.If it was easy for them to copy each and every detail why not import detail too.is there any explanation for this?and also sharing the sellers name would have helped us a lot.
Labeling the product is the most difficult part for them. Fraudsters can make duplicate packet and food but they can't make label. Hikari is a imported food. It's not made in India. Every label has a different bar code for product identification. I would have shared the seller's name but it is of no use because the seller is a main trusted seller of Amazon under which there are different category of sellers. Amazon is not sharing the name of the food seller.
Same mere sath bhi hua tha, Turtle Uvb lite ke sath, complent karne pr unhone mujhe mrp se jyada paise return kar diye aur Light bhi nahi le gaye.

I ordered Hikari wafers from Amazon. Received original. It might be with the seller. And yes, I completely agree about duplicate products being sold on Amazon and it is not restricted to fish food only. Choose and purchase wisely.
