The River Runs Red was huge in my town. Brings me back lot of good memories they were actually my 1st show. My 18th birthday we went to NYC on the Ugly Tour
His voice is amazing during this time! He sounds a lot like Michael Poulsen from Volbeat, or I should say Michael Poulsen sounds like him. Great voice!
@@mobilewintercamp7515 it took me a minute to figure it out. Every time I would hear Volbeat I would say to myself. Who does this sound like? And then it clicked. Life of Agony. Sounds just like them
I do enjoy LoA's newer material, but the albums that got me into them are River Runs Red and Ugly. It is so great to reconnect with that era. Thanks for posting!
ProPain/LIfeOfAgony.... I was at this show..... No stage diving cameo tho'. : ( Biohazard & Sick Of Of It All played the marquee a few weeks before that too... Good times!
I was in Ludwigsburg in January 1994. The concert was so great and the birth of LOA in Germany!! My good friend broke his arm on stage diving;-)) Chris
Keith is not dead , he is buried and held prisoner in so much spiritual emotional and mental pain that he is merely held captive in the chains of an alternate identity trying to cope with the darkness he was thrust into that is this world and circumstance . Keith is alive , he just needs help , freedom and love to be Keith . Mina is a mask to cope with the loss of his mother by becoming his mother . She failed him . But Kieth is a beautiful boy

Life of agony used to be good. With Keith Maputo. Mine Maputo isn't as good. Because the music isn't heavy. Nothing against trans people. But they aren't heavy anymore.
I’m still baffled how genius River Runs Red is. One of my top three favorite albums of my life
What are the other two?
My dad gave me a tattoo for my 17th birthday. This was 1997.
So... i got the River Runs Red symbol on my right forearm.
Its still there.
Keith's voice was so deep. The first two albums are legendary!
Was so Deep 🙄
The 3rd "soul searching sun" is also a masterpiece.

Dopest vocalist ever in a hardcore band 100%

When first heard Volbeat I thought it was new Life of Agony. It wasn’t just the voice, the song I heard was in LOAs direction
@@mobilewintercamp7515 Cool I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought so.

Back in the days Keith's speaking voice was totally different from his singing voice.
Stunning Band. Constantly crank RRR .
That’s Scott Gorham, bad ass Thin Lizzy guitarist.
Yessir!
great great music
LoA fxxxxking legendary!!!
Was Scott from Thin Lizzy the host of Headbangers Ball in the UK?
He was just the guest host for this show. The regular host was Vanessa Warwick
Love LOA!!
Somehow see that Keith was in pain from something we would later find out.
I really thought that was Jake Busey with a wig on at first...
Mina is fuckin underrated
she's a legend. one of the best

Note : in July 2011, keith change gender and his name after transgender is Mina Caputo
I have some good news for you
Keith took vocal training early on before the first album. He didnt always sound that good,
Sounds better as a man but it’s all good.
Life of agony used to be good. With Keith Maputo. Mine Maputo isn't as good. Because the music isn't heavy. Nothing against trans people. But they aren't heavy anymore.
They don’t have to be ... it’s music ... play what ya feel
*Caputo and people been whining they "aren't heavy anymore!" for 20 years now. Expecting bands to stay the same forever is an exercise in futility
they aren’t heavy any more cuz Mina is trans, they aren’t heavy any more cuz their old 🤣
They changed sound style longggggg before Keith transitioned to Mina. That had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Keith even says in this here interview that he prefers more mellow music
They used to be good. Not anymore.
