"Deadly molten metal". Well, the slag is mostly not metal, the metal is sold as product and not just being dumped in a pit.
this type of slag is from copper, and is mostly made up of metal, its dumped in a pit then dug back up and gets recycled then remelted to get all of the metal out of it. it is not sold as slag

its first crushed with a hydraulic hammer then its loaded on articulated haulers with a big excavator, then its crushed in a crusher or just loaded back in the furnace in chunks
@@derke123I used to lunch with these guys as a contractor transporting the ore concentrates to the plant. You are correct about the hydraulic hammer. They have a crusher on site crushing it to about 30mm gravel and then transported back to the refinery plant 50 km away for re-processing.
The way this is filmed and edited is such a laughing matter when you know the reality 😅

It's probably people like me that hate made up drama, why can't they just show the operation without all the fake drama, it was just a regular day at work for these guys, and the guy talked like someone's life was in the balance, it was ridiculous.
