I just discovered yalls channel. I love it. I just wanted to take a minute and speak to Jordan, brother, appreciate your father every single day! I'm a 34 year old man with hardly any trade skills who was raised without any father figures. I dreamed of having a father JUST LIKE YOURS. God bless yall and remember to count your blessings! Cheers boys, badass looking bathroom too!!
Integrity! These guys are the classic definition of integrity..... workmanship, quality, perseverance are important as well, but they really shine in the integrity department.
I can't believe a guy with as much experience as you tried to jinx yourself. "we'll be done in an hour". Every old hand realizes even tempting the gods like that usually makes something massive go wrong and you're there for hours.
Jordan is the editing Guru and has really become very professional. Just go back and look at some of their first videos and you can see that he has put his heart and soul into this. Great Father and Son teamwork as well.
What’s essential with this channel is that they are working on the kinds of houses that 99% of us have, with materials 99% of us would use or could use.
Still my favorite RUclipsrs! Your attention to detail and the working relationship you guys have are only two of the reasons why I like you guys so much. I am spreading the word to my coworkers to help get you guys to your next milestone 300,000!
another great video! it's impressive how you two manage to consistently put out things better than anything you see on tv, while also doing all the actual work of these jobs besides. keep up the great work!
Just discovered you channel like... 2 weeks ago, and you two looks like the coolest guys ever, and your work is fantastic. Would love to have beer with you if i ever come to Louisiana. Greetings from Bordeaux, France.
Thanks for this series. Never done tile work before, always wondered how things are done. This series has really shown me allot. Liked...and subscribed.
Woo hoo! Stunning!! I have used Laticrete Epoxy grout and it sets up so fast! One trick I have learned is to put the grout bucket in a bucket of ice - makes it set up a little more slowly and any little bit helps!
Love this channel, me and my Fiance just bought our first home and I'm just going crazy researching different stuff on the internet. Aside from the great videos and the excellent work you do, I just really appreciate the positive attitude and not being afraid to show mistakes. Even seasoned professionals can have a goof, you just can't be scared to get in there and get it fixed up the way you want it.
Love the father son team here! Teaching that young man your work ethic is the best inheritance you could ever give someone. Top notch video, quality craftsmanship and tons of tips and techniques. Stud pack you are a true professional!
Hey brother. Really like your videos. Love the good positive attitudes. Im commenting because I wanted to let you know something about this prism grout. Ive been a commercial tile installer for 40 years. Im a huge custom blend fan. The area rep is a friend of mine. I know your going strictly by the instructions, however, you can use just a little more water in your grout. Not much more but a little. The manufacturer is just covering themselves for fear of mixing TOO thin. Couple more drops will make your life easier without compromising quality. God Bless
I am 100% sure I can now do a bathroom remodel about as good as 30% of what you guys do. Man so many things that can go wrong if not pre planned, pre cut, etc. Thanks so much for making these videos!
Please keep uploading I’m trying to learn and absorb like a sponge so maybe one day I can open my own home improvement company, currently working for another home improvement company learning a lot
Omg I'm a 18 years tile installer and you as a home remodeling contractor. Where you do good tile work but don't do it every day like me. I'm surprised you thought me 2 things on the video alone on the tile sled and the angle finder to find my cut in niche. I never thought of this. Your awesome now I know thanks
You are MASTER CRAFTSMAN !!! Super impressed with your skills and techniques. I wish I was younger, I would work for you for free just to learn from you. Great Videos.
Always enjoy watching your videos as a contractor myself just starting out on my own, you guys have helped me out and a lot of sticky situations from drywall, framing, tile, cabinetry work, and flooring keep up the good content guys
Man my favorite channel. I may have missed it but I’ve learned that combing mortar behind glass tile can show through so the recommendation is to smooth it out.
A TON of appreciation for grouting with the fast stuff. I did it once with the fast stuff without realizing it was the fast stuff on my bathroom shower reno. Did all the walls and floor and by time i had gotten it all down it was setting up on the surface of everything... and I was hosed. Spent 3 months of nights and weekends trying to get that stuff off once it set on with drills chemicals and selective scraping... and even then its still not perfect to me.
That dragon-skin tile sure looks great! Love the sea-glass look. Surprised no grout company has made a **clear** color-tinted grout line just for glass tiles, so light can refract thru the grout same as it does thru the glass tiles!
@@jamesm.8392 Thinkin’ maybe paint the color(s) you want to refract thru the glass tiles, & use clear silicone to stickum & grout. Not so bad of a cost. Or, sick up mirror of choice (even Mylar?), then stick on the glass tiles w/clear silicone.
That turn out great! I would like a video of them putting the glass up. I’m getting ready to do my bathroom and between you and Isaac, you guys make it look easy! The part I haven’t figured out is drilling though the curb without making a weak spot with the anchors.
That looks like a million dollar job, well done! And i love the dragon tiles. Didn't know it existed, but i'm going to steel that idea for my bathroom.
Hi guys, I have a little tip for floor tiles that are not square. Place each line shifted by 33%, this way it hides if there is any uneven shift on the next line of tiles. Look it up "staggered 33% offset tiles". They look like stairs. PS. Love the new music.
Just wanted to say how inspirational and the impact you have had on my business I've really had the confidence to progress into more areas adding more strings to my bow and taking on 3 staff thankyou I'm truley grateful and the efficency I have gained with moving to spraying!! Keep on doing the industry proud your both shinning examples of the industry and I'd hire you any day of the week!! Lots of love Matt & the team @ MK BESPOKE INTERIORS LTD. UK 🇬🇧
That dragon scale tile is fantastic. I think the only thing I might try different is a super light green tint on the niche and curb grout to make it seem more cohesive. On the other hand, that might get old fast. Either way, beautiful job guys.
I was thinking the exact same thing. How nice that tile is and a greenish grout would look awesome! This does look really great though, guys, and Jordan, excellent idea to use the dragon skin on the raised curb too! It complements the niche very well!
One of the best series of instruction videos I have ever seen! Strong professional job! Great production too (camera work, lighting, sound and music). Even us old tile setter dogs can learn new tricks. 🏆
You know...this channel kind of reminds me of early This Old House where they showed more actual work than what they do lately, that said however Stud Pack makes it entertaining and you can the pride in the work this team does. Keep up the great work folks!
I highly recommend putting a pre-filter on that shop vac (e.g., the kind that act as a modified bucket lid). They're a bit clunky/ cumbersome, but they *really* cut down on filter replacements and help keep suction high.
True, but in a smallish bathroom the extra hose and bucket are just too troublesome to deal with imho. Most of the bathrooms I do are 5' x 10-12' so they generally are pretty tight spaces. Instead, I use a filter bag in addition to the regular shop vac filter to help with that issue and then I don't need an extra dust separator.
@@northernlightsrenovations1710: I just put the bucket in the bathroom and the vac outside the door. If you're going to have one or the other in a small room, the bucket is smaller than most vacs. Granted, maybe the customer doesn't want the vac outside the bathroom, but it's definitely worth it to me not to lose suction, and the bucket is easier to empty than a vac is. Just my 2 cents.
Awesome super clean job! My dad and I worked together doing the same work for 15 plus years! Looking back it was the best years I can remember! Cherish every moment together working! I kinda miss the randomness of the jobs, I work as a shop painter for a big ten university! It’s rewarding but I miss doing all trades!

You got this🫶🏽
Be kind to others and do what you can while you are young.
You guys care about all the right stuff. Quality work all the way around, from project to video production. Nice.
Integrity! These guys are the classic definition of integrity..... workmanship, quality, perseverance are important as well, but they really shine in the integrity department.
Been doing tile my whole life and never thought to get one of those fine tip markers. I’m getting a pack today. Thanks👍🏼
WHERE DID YOU FIND THE MARKERS? WHAT IS THE NAME/TYPE?
I can't believe a guy with as much experience as you tried to jinx yourself. "we'll be done in an hour". Every old hand realizes even tempting the gods like that usually makes something massive go wrong and you're there for hours.
This is the stuff youtube should be centered around, a man and his son caring about what they do and teaching other people about it.
The dragon skin mosaic tile look great. And adding them on the curb is a cool touch. Looks beautiful guys.
Paul, we need more guys like you in the industry. Plain and simple.
My back aches just watching these guys!
This is simply the best home reno yt channel in the entire world!!! Keep smashing it boys❤️
Love your work Pauly and Jordan🥳🙏🏽
Good to see you teaching Jordan. More kids need to learn the trades. Job well done.
Thank you!! Ur the 1st channel I’ve seen explain EVERYTHING!! It’s so helpful to us DIYers & beginners. 💜😍😃
Welcome!!
Two thumbs up to whoever does the editing and music. Makes great content even better.

I love your design idea on the curb riser/apron! That gives me some ideas on future shower builds. Great vid!
Thanks Landberg👊🏼 Wait until we get to unleash on our own Shower 👀👀 can’t wait to see how that soffit delete shower turns out💪🏼
Does the quartz that was used for the curb have to be sealed?
Absolutely crazy how much more motivating it is to learn how to understand the work better.

You guys are awesome. Many videos do not go to the detail or quality that you do. This will definitely help me on my next build. THANKS.
Love the grouting montage music! Makes Paul seem even more like a super hero!
You guys just made this Saturday afternoon terrific with a release of a new video !! Thank You Guys. Keep up the good work!!
I wasn't sold on the dragon skin until the grout was done! Looks amazing! Great idea!
Thanks for this series. Never done tile work before, always wondered how things are done. This series has really shown me allot. Liked...and subscribed.
Your positive cheerful attitude is medicine in and of itself. And of course great teaching.
That looks amazing . 😊
Woo hoo! Stunning!! I have used Laticrete Epoxy grout and it sets up so fast! One trick I have learned is to put the grout bucket in a bucket of ice - makes it set up a little more slowly and any little bit helps!
I use ice water to slow down the setting of grout and thinset when it’s hot and humid.

This is my favorite DIY channel. I love the work that you do and especially the relationship between dad and son!❤
Some light behind the dragon skin tiles would have looked absolutely amazing and would be unik too. And great work you two. Best regards from denmark.
Oooo, wow, great idea!
Proud to see you work with pride and teamwork . Your workmanship: building, filming and sharing lifts my soul. Thank you guys.
Incredible project gentlemen. Spectacular results. Hello from 🏴
I had a tile job 40 years ago no trials to use so i used a cardboard budweiser carton still looks professional today !

I think you and your son are absolutely great as workers and instructors. You must be proud of him and you raised him right! Cudos!

Excellent work, I’ve picked up quite a few tips along the way. Will be trying them out on my next remodel.
Nice gents! I love that dragon skin glass tile
Great Job! You guys seem to make a great team, congrats on that.

Great job my friend, Thanks Thanks Thanks
all the tile came out great.
I like to throw some dry grout on the floor and use a hard dry sponge to rub it around to clean off the surface grout. Works amazing.

As a one man outfit I prefer not using the fast set grout. You really need two people working it.
Thanks for telling us about the glass saw - I have some to do in the coming weeks. Remodeling our bathroom with glass edging and accent tile.
That is so cool. Think how much cooler to have put led strips behind the glass in the curb and niche. Awesome wrk guys!!!
Wait until we start working on the StudPack house, you’ll get sick of all the LEDs 😂
Awesome job thanks for the video, watching from Indiana!
That dragon-skin tile sure looks great! Love the sea-glass look.

Excellent dude, ...... great job
Stunning job studs I’m digging the dragon skin tile it looks killer thanks for sharing
They are indeed studs!
I love the way you guys work together. Great father / son bonding.
That Bath room looks Great, You Guys are a Class Act. Love to watch. Ray
Great what a great idea using a leftover tile for the wet saw.
I had never thought about friction from power mixing, but that splains a lot. I'll be hand mixing quick setting stuff from now on.
Absolutely love that tip about supporting the glass tile with a sacrificial piece! You guys rock!
Awesome video with a ton of great tip Thank you
That looks like a million dollar job, well done! And i love the dragon tiles. Didn't know it existed, but i'm going to steel that idea for my bathroom.

Just watching that thing cut was super neat.
Do we see a reveal of the finished bathroom? With the fixtures in, etc? Love it.
