It's not as powerful as I thought it would be, but it works very well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGjG43--gYqIoT4Xkur2PqCrtbKwTv2h There are three options to circulate air, and best of all a remote control for us lazy people. Installation was a breeze (no pun intended). It actually took longer to open the box then it did putting the side extenders on and sitting it in the window opening. It's a perfect alternative when you want airflow, but not the AC. Just might order another one for a different room. UPDATE: Bought another one like I said. They work great. Why not have two...
Twice, here in Toronto Canada, I have had to take my dual fan ( A different Model ) apart, separate the plastic parts, and then wash them in the bathtub. OMG, the amount of black dirt was shocking indeed. I tend to leave the fan on 24/7 all year. It is installed in the kitchen window hooked up to a temperature controlled switch, such that in the winter time it will never bring the kitchen temperature below the selected temperature setting, thus the fan turns on for limited times, but still provides some fresh air. To keep that outdoor air black filth from blowing into my apartment, I just finished strapping a 10" x 20 " air filter onto it. A perfect fit indeed.
No lie had this for 1 month in SoCal hot summer heat. This fan doesn’t blow cold air at night haha. Noise air is still make a good amount of noise. Save your money!
*Works great with **Fastly.Cool** , exactly as described. Love the fact that it can push, pull, or exchange air with the push of a button. The remote is a nice bonus too!*
Those twin fans work a lot better if you put them in the top window. I had to exchange the original power wire with the extension cord wire to reach an outlet. I have my two fans blowing the heat out of the top of my window and it sucks, pressurizes and wind chills air through a small missing window pane at the bottom of my door. I made my main sitting spot in front of that beam of cold air. My room doesn't need AC on the hottest day in Ohio. Even if the AC's aren't on in the house. But that models awesome. I'm going to have to see if I can snag one. That would keep my room a lot colder than mine and the ability to switch directions👍
I have one & had for years I keep it in all year & I remove the back side of it for cleaning rather than trying to clean through the slats it makes it easier to clean. There's a screen in my window & it gets fuzzies on it so I take the screen out & hose it off or use a real gental brush to get it clean,it's a old house & screen's old so need clean it easy. My hands are not real big & it can slip outta my hands when I need to move it & not often it can be a pain when there's no place to hold onto. I do plan on getting another new one they work for me.
There are smaller ones if U look around I was looking for one for my bathroom to & found one but I didn't get one, think my window wont open or outlet was to far so I didn't get it.... ✌
I've had 2 of those, and yes, they are OK, not the best. The best twin Window fans are the Vintage all metal Marvin window fans that push much stronger air and last many more years than these cheap plastic things they make today.
Yea should work. You could also just use a box fan if you have it and seal the gap that’s left over. I would have the fan blowing one way only and then have another window open on the opposite end and air will move between the 2 areas and will exchange the inside air with the outside air.
I have this fan and it is in like 3 pieces and I am cleaning it. (I put it in my crawlspace last winter and when I took it out, there was black mold all over it.) Could anybody tell me how to remove the fan blade? It would make the cleaning a lot easier
@Jason Smith, I have this fan and cleaned it this week. After taking it apart I cleaned the separate part with Dawn dish soap in the sink with a brush. That was easy. I cleaned the piece the fans are attached to with a toothbrush. Tedious but it worked. I was careful not to get the motors wet. The blades and inside the housing I used paper towels with alcohol sprayed on them. That wasn't easy but it did a good job. You may have to do the blades a couple of times. When you take the back off pay attention to how the accordian pull outs are situated. I didn't and it took me a couple of times to figure out. Cleaning it took more time than I would have liked, but I have a clean fan. I can't stand a dirty fan so it was worth it. I also gave the motors a shot of WD-40. all is good. Good luck!!
This is cheaper on your electric bill instead of using an A/C unit in your window use this fan it is cheaper to power and fan through your outlet than to power an A/C unit 💵
You take too long. You aren't efficient. This video is a mess. You should Categorize what you're talking about. I don't want to have to watch this whole thing for one small detail. This isn't high school.

Great review! Really needed something like this.
This fan is the bomb
you didn't mention how to use the in and out exhaust. Which level should I use from the middle switch in order to operate the in and out exhaust..?
Thanks for review

At 3:10 it’s a thermostat so the fan will kick in at a desired temperature.
Thank you! I was wondering!
slimness is very important because I want to be able to close my window blinds without having to remove the fan all the time.

why is there a fastly.cool spam post in every cooling video
Will it be a problem during the winter? I live in Nd where it snows too much and is too cold and i have heater installed. Ty
How does it fair for windows that open horizontally?
Sounds a big noisy. Do you have decibel measurement?
my god hell yes . Finlly some uses an kill watt meater
I would install those on the kitchen window

1 of my pet peeves is a dirty fan. I have this fan and I take it apart to clean it too.
Thank you
😍
I have a Bionaire, use it as kitchen exhaust. Only issue is the they should have front cover for winters that allows you to shut it when not using.
Try adding an exterior screen!
Thesw things never work for long in the kitchen, motors get gunked with grease
I have this fan and it works really well! However, I don't think mine had the legs :(
The legs are loose in the box
How does the temperature control work?
Very helpful. Thank you. I'm searching for a fan that will fit a 22" window so this is barely too big.
Did you happen to find one? I'm looking for one for my bathroom window which is 22".
@AaronB 24034 I'll check it out. Thanks for the reply!

Can you close the window with it installed
I'm gonna show you this heeah!
It looks nice:3
What side should I put it facing outside the exhaust out
Buttons and controls always keep in the house
can this run on 220V ?
Harmonica or accordion?
So bugs can go in?
the blades are pretty small given how much more space is inside the enclosure
I have a 2 little gaps that cold/hot air comes in. Any way to fix this?
Duct seal compound? Tape? It should be easy if it’s small gaps.
Duct tapw

No way. An all metal higher quality fan is better than an all plastic low quality fan???
Wish that its available in this tropical country.
I wonder how big of a room can this be used. I need air to come in and out of our living room.

@@iamthebesfromyou Thank you.
Can you put it on a vertical window?
Yes, my sister uses this on a vertical window, but it does not block the rest of the opening with the extenders. But it still works very well
CFM measurements or comparison to other fans?
I compare this to the Holmes here. Which is the other popular Twin Window Fan - ruclips.net/video/sWU2FcLIEgo/видео.html
Can this work vertically in a window?
Have you found out ?
@@jojo9536 yes, it does indeed

02:19 My father placed the Harmonica. I think you mean Accordion.
As soon as I heard him say that I was like what?! I immediately checked the comment section to see of anyone else mentioned it.
gpwgpw555 it’s a fn guitar
@Scott Pallot I spell so badly I depend on spell check. My 7 year old granddaughter spells better than me. Thanks for the correction.
Can you place it in a window vertically?
Yes
I hope so, because i plan to install one today.
This is cheaper on your electric bill instead of using an A/C unit in your window use this fan it is cheaper to power and fan through your outlet than to power an A/C unit 💵
I think you meant accordion
I Have To Put In Window Because My House Is Too HOT and The COLD AIR comes in
This is Hampton bay brand from home Depot
Is 65W too much for such a fan?
Accordion extensions. Not sure what kind of harmonica you’re using
how can it cool the outside air?
By preciated balsa wood 🪵
It’s definitely not cooling any air… my guess is it’s a thermostat to turn the fan on/off off at a desired temperature.
Accordion, not harmonica. Great review though thank you 👍🏼
I knew that was the wrong instrument. Harmonica. But he's got a great in depth view of this fan.
Harmonica
Harmonica 🤔
ikr he meant to say accordion xD
$40 at home depot? so in other words it less than $30 on Amazon.
