Hi everyone. This was filmed before the recent typhoon that hit Leyte Island (and hit many parts of the Philippines) Leyte experienced large floods over the past week Very tough times over there in Leyte, especially because they are still recovering from Odette Sending love to anyone in Leyte
Glad you were there before the recent typhoon, looking forward to your videos there! Traveling alone, I have to give you a lot of applause, you are very courageous!👍😃👏👏👏 很慶幸你在颱風之前去了那裡,期待你在那裏的影片! 一個人到處旅行,還是要給你很多掌聲,你很有勇氣!
Hi Travis! Hats off to you for weathering the rain to get some nice footage. Would be interesting to hear how the local people survived the typhoon. Good luck to all.
SORRY for encountering some discomforts on your way in exploring THROUGH places because of rainfall along the way Travis but that's how nature is wherever you are- keep on dear friend. The warmth of the Filipinos will keep you up and upbeat along the way.
Hahaha you're so funny Travis and your travelling all the time. The hot weather is so tiring but you're still in good mood. You're an awesome person to be with. Takecare and have fun in the Philippines.
Travis, try to catch a boat to limasawa island, the beach and lagoon there is amazing while eating dried squid. Also try the beach in tangkaan, buscayan, and spring in banahaw.
I love all your vlog travis its so fun watching you i think your the coolest vlogger so far that i have ever seen and aside from that thank you for the kind words that you say for all the people in leyte we so much appreciate it ,you should explore more around leyte province you can find untouch islands ,falls and beach that is not yet discovered.
Have fun in Leyte!! And thank you for visiting Leyte. Looking foward on you next video exploring Leyte so I could add on my list to visit once I come back home in PH ☺️
Ormoc made headlines in 1990 when I was in elementary. We're in Mindanao and there was only 1 TV 📺 channel in our area at the time but everyone talked about the floods caused by deforestation. Logs overran the city and many died. Leyte just can't seem to catch a break.
I love that you try riding a jeepney! Reminds me of when I go visit family in Philippines… all the locals stare at me cause I’m speaking English. So cute… been enjoying your adventures so far!
Love your On-the-go, Care-free and exuberant attitude ! 👍🏽 Indeed it's more Fun in the Philippines !❤️ Hope you'll Try Mindanao like Siargao. Bukidnon, Camiguin Island, Davao etc..👍🏽 .
Woa what a crazy ride Travis. Admire how you keep your cool and humor.😊😄 Your vlogs are so entertaining Travis machan. Oh my the destruction glad that you came before the typhoon. Please stay safe. Can't wait for your next adventure. Api yamu Travis. 🙏❤

what are you doing in leyte travis, thats off the beaten path, hats off to you for venturing into areas most tourists dont go to especially on your first trip, i would think this should have been done after you have been to philippines multiple times....the whalesharks in oslob would have been easier option ... but i guess you want adventure so you got it...heheheh
Hi Travis Im from Southern Leyte, Please you gotta visit KALANGGAMAN ISLAND while you are here in leyte, It will be worth it for sure. You can research it in advance.
Love to see you riding in that jeep.... your to big for that transpo 🤭🥰🥰🥰... your truly adventurousman..rain and shine...love You're awesome video... take care always.. bless you
So sad to see the destruction mother nature can cause to such a beautiful place. Shows how resilient Filipinos are to stay strong despite the hard times. Sending our love to those rebuilding their lives ❤
I like how friendly you are, representing Aus well. I do hope you kept your mask on though since it felt a bit disrespectful to the others in your transport options to have your mask down while in their close vicinity. Just a small thing to show courtesy to them. I appreciate these videos though!
Will you visit Northern Samar after Leyte? There are alot of cheap lobster and shells there. Try Araw Beach and there is an area where you can surf but be VERY CAREFUL waves are ahem deadly.
In the center of Philippines is a typhoon prone area in the bottom part is an earthquake prone area..upper Philippines is half typhoon area ..in the cities like manila or near airports be aware of scammers(well if you got unlucky) but majority of Filipino like talking to foreigner
...from the struggle to squiz yourself in that small jeepney up to that running part under the rain carrying your load it must be a sacrifice for you...but it was amazing watching you having fun and enjoying the situation that most of us hate😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤....
Heya Trav, Another adventure and while not comfortable on the bus you still smile with locals and show respect compassion and empathy. The Phillipines suffer immeasurably when typhoons 🌀 hit the eastern islands and it’s obvious how disastrous these storms are for the locals. Running on the road in the rain ☔️.. 😂 I’d be needing a few cocktails 🍹 once I arrived at that reception desk. Keep having fun.. Jeffa 😍
Hi Travis I've been watching your videos and I like it....im using the matepad of my son in watching and now here in my personal account I already subscribed in your channel.
Travis, jeepneys are the most widely used mode of transportation in the country and the cheapest. You haven't seen the worst where the locals, especially the men hold on and hang to the jeepney.
The small thing you just ride is called a muti-cab its a smaller type of jeepney i dont usually ride this since its too small i always bump my head on the roof
