This is a great video. I would love to see a newer version with Propresenter 7 or is there one?
Wow, what a great feature, thanks for putting together this video.
This is dope!!! I love it. I will definitely become a pro member.
Awesome! Let us know if you have any questions about the features once you get started.
Great Video! I just signed up to be a prime Pro user because of this awesome new feature and am excited to start implementing this into our weekly services. Quick Question: How do you use prime to control the lights (via jands vista or any other lighting software) and propresenter at the same time if they are being run on separate mac computers? Is this possible to connect to both computers at the same time for midi control within the prime app? Thx =]
was this question ever answered? or did you find a solution?
This is awesome thanks! Quick question: What does "Velocity" do? I noticed you kept it on 1 for this demo, but I'm curious what would change if you bumped it all the way up
Ethan Everett Gutheil you can use velocity to trigger the specific slide number.
Hey, did all of the steps in your video but not seeing the propresenter computer on my macbook or my ipad that both have prime. All on the same network. Not sure how to fix this...
This is outdated. Can we get an updated video?
Well I am in the middle of getting this up and running, but I encountered a snag. When I went to activate the module in Pro Presenter, it errors. I contacted support, and they said that they are no longer activating modules in version 6 now that 7 is out. The midi module comes included in 7, so if you want that, you have to upgrade to 7. Kind of a hit to the budget since we weren't planning on upgrading for a while...
What does note, channel, and velocity mean? Not sure if I missed it. Also how do you go to the next song?
So now that we can safe arrangements to how we sings MT via pro - after we assign when the slides are to change does that also get saved so we don’t have to repeat every time we sing the song?
If you have saved the song with midi cues set, as a custom arrangement, then yes! The song will include the midi cues when pulling that arrangement into other setlists as well.
Hello friends. Thanks for this video. It is very helpful. I have another question, can I add controllers for lights too?
Yes! You can setup Cues to control lighting software as well.
Can you make a video how to set it up with light softwares ? Like QLC+
We will have more videos coming soon!
Thanks so much. this helps us a lot. I have a question. when we want to "Flow" to go back to the chorus or repeat a verse that is no in the arrangement, I have noticed that it doesn't go back to the chorus in pro presence instead it continues to next slide in Pro presenter 7. There is a way to fix this?
You will need to make sure that you have the correct marker in place so that when you change sections in Prime, the next midi cue tells ProPresenter which specific slide to jump to as opposed to just using the "next slide" cue. Hope this helps!
Loop so we can tell Propresenter to go to specific slide instead to go to next all the time?
@@howardbosman7904 Yes! You can see the different midi commands in ProPresenter in the preferences and see what midi message that command is assigned to.
When will Loop Community add the ability to do more than 1 Midi connection? To make it possible to connect lyrics and lighting simultaneously? This is greatly needed.
Actually, I am asking when Prime will be able to connect to more than one computer to do multiple midi functions (i.e. Lighting and Pro Presenter, MainStage, etc...)
@@paulbamberg189 We will look into this! Thanks so much for the input! Hopefully, we're able to implement this function soon.
I am not able to get any midi cue connections on the prime app on my mac book pro. pls help. thank you. I am able to see connections only on my ipad and iphone. Not on any MAC Laptop.
I figured it out @David Parker - u have to connect on both pro presenter and prime app Macs on the Audio midi unit which is in utility.. the Mac names will be displayed when connected to the same WiFi.
Our ProPresenter is currently running on a PC. Does this only work Mac-->Mac or can it be implemented cross-platform?
You can use this with a PC running ProPresenter with the help of a program called rtpMIDI which you can use to connect your device wirelessly to your ProPresenter computer.
@@loopcommunity Awesome, thanks for the hint with this tool! I'm also using Propresenter on Windows. You should definitely add this hint also at the guide loopcommunity.com/blog/2019/11/how-to-use-midi-out-with-prime/ because at least outside of the US Windows is rather the standard than Mac OS
Hello, I noticed the ipad on the video does not have any wires going to it. Is the audio only going to the computer, or the sound system as well?
Hey Carlos, for this video the audio was being sent through the built in output on the iPad, just for demonstration purposes. The Midi Cues will send wirelessly using this method, but you will still need to send audio via the headphone out or interface on your Prime device. Hope this helps!
Hey loop, this feature is only available for ipad? I'd like to know how to do that with my mac and my IPhone
Hey Mikael, the process will be the same for any Prime device!
@@loopcommunity Oh, I didn't see the description of the video, this feature is only available for Pro Members.
@David Parker email support@loopcommunity.com and our team can help figure out the issue! Thanks!
Just found out tonight our Worship team uses your product, so I know nothing about it. Wondering if it sends SMPTE or if the MIDI system could control lights.
You can certainly use the Midi Out function to control lights. With the midi out function you have the option of sending midi notes, program changes, as well as control changes at various points throughout a song!
Can you do it all from one device? Example: Prime App to Proclaim App inside the same omputer?
Yes you can! You will just want to use the IAC Driver instead of setting up a Network Session. If you have questions on this, email us at support@loopcommunity.com.
@@loopcommunity thanks
Can I do this with my iPad and a Microsoft computer?
Yes you can!
Can I do this with EZ worship?
This will work with any program that is capable of receiving midi via a wireless network!
You said on the description it is available for all pro members, so I got the pro standard plan but I can't see this option, am I doing something wrong?
For MIDI Out, you need to have Loop Pro Plus, Premium or Ultimate. When this video came out we didn't have separate plans. Sorry for the confusions!
You need to make this quite clear , because we will sign up for standard and not the upgrade , I think it's not confusing but seems to be deceptive , as it would've cost me $10 USD , another $20 USD and the monthly debit cannot be stopped or put on hold , so can you edit the video asap so we are quite clear about pricing
I have the newest version of Prime and Pro Presenter, but I don't see "Preferences" or "Modules" as it looks like some of the layout has changed. Can anyone walk me through this with Pro Presenter 7 please?
After some further study, I'm seeing the differences between PP 6 and 7 layout. An updated video at some point might be helpful to newbies like myself.
This video should help! ruclips.net/video/CvZpVJ9tSj0/видео.htmlsi=Ny7BT7Sck0PdQryq

Good video but the current iPad version doesn't have the MIDI Cue Connections in the Settings anymore. Can't find any useful help in your site either.
If you're not seeing this in settings, this may be because you're not currently subscribed to Loop Pro. If you reach out to our team at support@loopcommunity.com we can look further into this with you!
Will this work if Propresenter is ran on a PC? If so, how?
It will if you install RTP MIDI on your PC. Here is a link with instructions and a download to do this: www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/rtpmidi.html
What if the computer that rums pro presenter is a windows computer ?
You can do this if you setup RTPMIDI on your PC. Here is a link and in the top right you can see a tutorial and download the rtp midi. www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/rtpmidi.html
How about if we are using Pro Presenter in Windows? How can we do the Midi Out in windows?
You will need to set up RTP MIDI on the Windows computer. Here's a download and tutorial on how to do it: www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/rtpmidi.html
I only had my iPad and laptop connected to the Wi-Fi and it kept losing connection. Is there a way to hardwire?
If you're using Prime on Mac, you could send midi over USB using the same method, but if you're on iPad, ther eisn't a way yet to do this.
@@loopcommunity MIDI over usb using a USB-Ethernet Adapter? I'm currently using the Looptimus and Trackrig with my iPad. Is there a way to send the midi over ethernet with my current set up?
@@StPetersPV Not yet, but we're looking into providing other methods for sending midi in a future version!
Hopefully we’ll get MIDI through USB soon….
Midi que connection isn't there. How can I connect it?
If you aren't seeing your network under MIDI Cues Connection, on the computer you are using to connect it in the session window you can click your device that has Prime on it and click Connect. If you have questions, email us at support@loopcommunity.com!
ESPAÑOL POR FAVOR
The lyrics don't automatically show up? You have to add cues for each song?
hey there! They will not automatically have the lyrics. You will have to add lyric slides to your software like ProPresenter, EasyWorship or Proclaim. Then when you add the MIDI Cues to Prime, they will trigger the slides in your software over the network.
