I will be 60 years old in November. The same year Mary Poppins came out. I'm sure the film came out before I was born, but when
I was a kid, watching that movie and having the album with the songs always made me happy.

This was so enjoyable. Karen was magic in Mary Poppins. My daughter wanted to be Jane Banks. What a great career she’s had. Thank you Craig, and for bringing out the best in everyone. Like Karen, I love coyotes and feed them as well at my home!🌼👍

So grateful for this interview. I grew up in California watching all these films--at one point lived in Camarillo where Walter Brennan was grand Marshall at the parade in the summer, Now live far away from there but those memories are like yesterday. So precious and wonderful to see how well grounded and lovely one of my favorite actresses as a child turned out to be!💕. Thank you so much for the update update!

The Three Lives of Thomasina is a magical movie, an absolute favorite of mine as a little girl. With Susan Hampshire and Patrick McGoohan, what a cast. And Karen Dotrice made me cry every time. And she got a singing lesson from Julie Andrews, who’d been coached as a singing child, too, wow. Wonderful memories. Glad to see she’s well and happy.

Walt Disney preferred to be called "Uncle Walt" by the children, but many were too respectful and shy, opting to call him "Mr. Disney". Annette Funicello, and Sharon Baird, expressed in interviews that They regretted not calling him "Uncle Walt" as they realized later how much it would have meant to him.

I watched this interview again, with my daughters, who love The Gnome-Mobile. I'm wondering Craig, as a former Brit living in the US, not only do I adore Karen Dotrice but also her sister Michelle Dotrice. Is there any chance you could interview Michelle? Some Mothers Do Ave Em is such a classic for me. Please, please and please again. 😻

Craig Bennett is Australian, it's likely his accent. I'm sure Karen would have corrected him if he were pronouncing her surname incorrectly. Oddly, I just saw an interview on the BBC where the hosts pronounced her sister Michele Dotrice's surname exactly as Craig did. 😀
