- Can't make tight braids? This video might help you! I listed some of my problems when I started braiding and reasons why I couldn't get to myself perfectly tight braids! I thought to share them with you so you don't have to struggle at least with the same problems as I did!
2 dutch braids, cornrows, boxer braids - what ever they are to you - are most common braid trend and I executed my tips with this hairstyle! They are great for school, any dailylife activity, hobbys etc. These braids last well and you always look good in these braids! They are also great if you haven't wash your hair and you need to hide dirty hair! This is also great braid style for beginners as dutch braid requires only 3 strands of hair!

for all people having a problem with your braid not starting at the top of your head, start with small sections and hold them really tight
You are so talented. You must be just so proud of yourself. So many girls dream of being as good at hair as you are. And anyone out there who doesnt think they are good at hair. just dont give up and you cant go wrong.
Gah no matter how much I try my braids are never visible until an inch or more after they actually start. Why is this so hard?!!! 🥺😭
I had that same problem too :/ try taking bigger sections when ur braiding especially at the top

@@thelizzieanneshow6067 nah you need to take really small sections, close to the hairline, and braid really tight especially at the start
Tiny sections, pulling taut with each pass. And just…lots of practice!
Your problem is your braiding over(French braid ) try braiding under and under (Dutch braid)
I have bangs, they grew up but still I face difficulty while making dutch braids. Nice video btw
If you braid tightly the bangs will stay in😁
@@chloeharris6021 She is right. You can also try using Bobby pins to tuck then under the braids
The braids will look better with some bangs out or else you’ll look like an egg head

After about a month of braiding once or twice a day for a month, my arms don't ache and it feels like a nuce little stretch and a lityle exercise. You will get past the achw, if you haven't already.
Practice is key! When I was in grade three all I would do is do dutch braids on whoever wanted them. It took me a while to master doing it on myself, but it is a nice skill to have. If it’s something you really want to learn, go for it! Just remember it takes a few tries! :)
These look amazing! I can not do my own no matter what I do I can only do them close to my ears so I can see the braid the whole time.

My braid doesn’t start at the top 😭you can only see it at the back of my head no matter how hard I try 😭

try starting with smaller pieces and making sure you're doing it tight enough (keep your hair closer to your head rather than away)

How do you take the braid in a straight line
Try to not keep moving your hands back and forth because that shifts the braid!

Please call these braids what they are "cornrows."
These are dutch braids. Cornrows are different. Cornrows are a different type of braid, as are Dutch braids. There are many many different types.
No dear, they are "cornrows." These braids have always and always will be cornrows no matter how you style them. I like many other women know what they are called, because we've rocked them all of our lives!

@@lucindaealy7127 these braids are not cornrows, cornrows are really tight small braids, containing more then just 2 braids in your hair, there is a big difference then Dutch braids and cornrows.
