@ted.slotcardaddy thank you Ted 😊 it's interesting because it's never really know how it's going to look until after all the stages and then hopefully it turns out OK 😁but I can always adjust and change certain elements 🤗
Now that's super messy! It came out nice, I recall when I used that foam for my SCX rally track I made back in the day I coated it with a rubberized latex caulk and then painted it and that worked out good also. Your the king of foam Harry!
@BSslotcars 😂🤣 thanks Steve .That's very interesting about the rubber Latex caulk 🤔 I'm guessing that stuff never hardens (could be good for car protection in crashes ) thanks for watching Steve 🤗
Love it Harry, this exactly how I did the scenery on my last track, that expanding foam is brilliant. But is arguably the most messy unpredictable stuff to work with.. as your video showed with the overnight boulder in the middle of the track, I had a good laugh at that! It happened to me a few times 😂 👍
@U_C_Slotcars 🤣🤣 yes mate it's crazy how these things spout out and are completely random to the rest of the fill 😅 The Styrofoam and expanding foam are indeed messy, but if I get the finish right it should look fairly ok 😬😁appreciate you watching and commenting 🤗
@Zaphodschannel cheers mate 👍 my favourite blades are new Stanley ones without the handles 😁I've had two weeks messing about with Styrofoam, looking forward to doing some car stuff 🙂 thanks for watching and commenting 👍
@slotcardude68 it's great stuff Nico but it can get messy. This one was the cheapest, so I'm sure there are much better quality ones available 🤗thanks for watching buddy 🙂
Morning Harry, It's always interesting how you turn foam into good-looking hills, it's a knack that you've either got or you haven't got, in my case I haven't got, its all looking good anyway........colin 😀
@droneon29 Morning Colin 🤗 it's really very easy to try mate .I only started making scenic stuff 10 months ago and before that ...never ,can't even draw a decent picture 🫢 hope all is going well in the house hunt mate 👍
looking great mate. Keep having fun Harry
@shermaddictedtorc8540 Thank you buddy 🤗 up to my eyes in Styrofoam 🫢😂 time for cars soon 😁
It looks like you're getting crafty brother 💯
@PNWSlotcarDad it's all very amateur but somehow seems to come good in the end ....usually 😬🤣
Cool Video!
@dennisosborn5589 thank you Dennis 😊
Looks fantastic Harry. I like the real sticks for the crawlers.
@TADD29 thanks Mate 😊 yes it was looking a bit too easy and featureless, so I decided to add some extras ...ile be doing a little greens too 🤗
very nice Harry I always like DIY projects
@ted.slotcardaddy thank you Ted 😊 it's interesting because it's never really know how it's going to look until after all the stages and then hopefully it turns out OK 😁but I can always adjust and change certain elements 🤗
Great advice and step by step instructions - apart from the blade use hahahaha💪💪👍👍
The “Foam King” you need to make yourself a foam crown 👑 Great video as usual 👍

Dangerous way?!? That's the only way we used scapel blades at art college. We couldn't afford handles! Great work again Harry. 👍

@slotcardude68 it's great stuff Nico but it can get messy. This one was the cheapest, so I'm sure there are much better quality ones available 🤗thanks for watching buddy 🙂
Hiya, Harry, expanding foam can get quite messy. But the realism is amazing when it's done sculpting.
@Dafingers1 yes agreed ,it's great stuff and also messy but this particular job went less messy than expected 😁Always appreciate you mate 🤗
