Suplus stores are one of my favorite places to visit. I nearly always find something I can't live without. It's probably a good thing I don't live close to this one! ;)
Thank you for the video I’ve always been a fan of Army/Navy stores and before I was finished with the video I went to their site. I’ll be doing some shopping from there. Thanks again and good job.
I moved to the Ft Worth area in '82 & have been to Omaha's numerous times. I moved back to IL in '96 and haven't been back to Ft Worth or Omaha's. Thanks for creating this vid.
Aww my favorite store. The only happy place that still exist even if i dont buy anything like walking into a museum and leaving.bought a lots of stuff from there that i still have today.ive been there my whole life growing up and even applied there
Thanks for watching & thank you for your service! Stay tuned for more videos like this coming soon! Part 2 of Omahas surplus is also on the way. Enjoy!
I haven't seen or been in a decent surplus store here in the UK for years. TBH I don't even know where there is one now. But this one! Wow!! They seem to have something for everyone don't they. Back in the early 90's, I went to an Oxfam charity shop and managed to get hold of an American Special Forces Mountain and Arctic sleeping bag. The thing was amazing. I could sleep outside on a cold night with just a small tarp covering my head and not feel anything but a slight cool breeze coming in through the head hole. To this day I can't remember what happened to it. I probably gave it away to someone. I have a habit of doing that, lol......

Reminds me of the surplus store that was down in Galveston, TX...Col. Buddy's. Story goes that he had a F4 Phatom in the 4th floor ready to fly and if you wanted a submarine he could get you one with no problem.
It was fast but it had to be. Otherwise it would take up two hours and everyone would be bored. As for prices, we all know military surplus stores are overpriced.
you have to watch yourself some of these places can be as bad as pawnshop , one in tulsa off of memorial that told us when we went in to look around that they only sold to former military. what kind of bs is that ? they also tried to sell us a (sting) replica for like $1200 , like i said its off memorial , yellow building. wouldnt waste my money there.

@brainyhead1 so thank you for the great video but there was some radio equipment when you first started on two shelves, a pause at anytime only yields some distorted pictures. The chances of me traveling to this surplus store is very, very slim anyway.
Checked out their website after watching this video.....WAAAAAY overpriced on 90% of their stuff. Nothing wrong with making money but geez they are ridiculous on most of their items.
Fair prices, they have bills to pay. Not many stores like this left. We have to support them and keep them opened. 💯If we do not they will all be gone.
@@brainyhead1 Hey I'm all about supporting local business but when you ask $50 for a 3 pattern desert shirt in size medium which sells for $10-15 online/retail thats not gonna win over any new customers.
SLOW DOWN & some prices would help.

Price Too Much!
I’m dizzy, it would have been nice to go real easy for sure.

Huge selection ‼️
They have boxes still in the warehouse never even opened since WW2!! Treasures for sure!
There were a couple of ARC-1 airbourne VHF transceivers from WW2 at 1:50.
They have a good selection of old radios and gauges from aircraft.
