- Videos (which have been put together) were taken on the 22nd October 2021, whilst the final part of the Blue Boar Pub succumbed to the bulldozers.
The pub had stood on Deansgate in Bolton for over 200 years. Being listed in the 1779 Bolton Licensing List, the pub, along with the other historic buildings on the block, sadly stood in the way of progress.

It's so sad to see our social life being destroyed like this pub's used to be the hub of our society.
Bad enough to see such a historical building come down, but to destroy that nice clock (and street sign) on the front is blasphemy!
I always think it is a bit sad when you see a building that has been there a long time being demolished.❤

Another bit of old Bolton gone forever.
once again big business developers and local council destroying our heritage, this happened in the centre of Nottingham they destroyed a large area of the city centre and ran a dual carriage way through it then built multi story and modern building only to realise that 50 years later they regretted it, same will happen to Bolton
