Will Google consider duplicate content by having a shop page in the Main menu and some categories also on the Main menu ? Would't be better to disable the shop page and have the categories in the menu? For better ux experience
Google tends to focus on indexing unique content, and having a shop page and category pages listed in the main menu might not be a strict duplicate content issue. Here's why: Limited duplication: The content on these pages would likely be different. The shop page might be a landing page with a general overview, while category pages would focus on specific product types. Internal linking: These pages would likely link to each other, which helps search engines understand your website structure. However, it's still a good idea to optimize your navigation for both SEO and user experience (UX).
i have followed your instructions verbatim but only with elementor as the page builder. woocommerce shop page i have not used elementor. woo commerce shop page doesnt show pagination and instead of 55 products is only showing 20 products. on checkout page its showing 404. why? how to fix all this
Hi Muniza, Here is few solutions you may try. Pagination not showing on the shop page: Make sure that pagination is enabled in WooCommerce settings. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display and ensure that "Products per page" is set to a value greater than the number of products you have. Also, make sure that "Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives" is unchecked. If you're using a custom theme, try switching to a default WordPress theme temporarily to see if pagination appears. If it does, then the issue may be with your custom theme and you may need to contact the theme developer for assistance. If you're using a caching plugin, try clearing your cache and refreshing the page to see if pagination appears. Checkout page showing 404: Make sure that WooCommerce is set up correctly and that your permalinks are set to "Post name". Go to Settings > Permalinks and select "Post name". If you have any custom code or plugins that modify the WooCommerce checkout page, try disabling them temporarily to see if the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, try resetting your permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and click "Save Changes" without making any changes. This will refresh your permalinks and may resolve the issue. If you find our channel useful, please like, subscribe 🙂
