Not all elderly people are computer confident and I am one off those. You don't have to book x-rays at hospital as you can now just walk in if you are referred by Dr as Dr sends details straight from the computer, same with MRI and other tests.

I was thinking earlier today about the huge turnouts for protests against Israel last year. Thousands of folk on the streets waving banners and condeming the behaviours of one nation against a terrorist faction that killed and kidnapped. Strikes me as odd that we saw no such protests on our streets when the horrors of what was happening in Rochdale, Rotherham, Slough and elsewhere were publicised so widely. The abuse of children was and is horrific. Do these folk that protest at the drop of a hat have double standards? Perhaps no standards? Or are they just saying its okay to behave in this way for one section of our population but unacceptable for others? My late partner worked in Childrens Services for many years and would recount terrible instances of the behaviours of a certain demographic. Why no popular uprising and demonstrations against these people and their behaviours? Am I missing something or is it now just accepted as the norm? I do hope its not the norm and that our PM will sanction a full and open-ended public inquiry into these behaviours. It certainly will not be before time and to h*ll with upsetting folk. It took me six times to get a hospital appt on the computer. He talks about GPs referring what a joke you could wait forever to get an appt. Not all elderly people are computer confident and I am one off those. You don't have to book x-rays at hospital as you can now just walk in if you are referred by Dr as Dr sends details straight from the computer, same with MRI and other tests.
Why can’t they? Older family members use it all the time…shopping/reminders/texting etc.

I was thinking earlier today about the huge turnouts for protests against Israel last year. Thousands of folk on the streets waving banners and condeming the behaviours of one nation against a terrorist faction that killed and kidnapped. Strikes me as odd that we saw no such protests on our streets when the horrors of what was happening in Rochdale, Rotherham, Slough and elsewhere were publicised so widely. The abuse of children was and is horrific. Do these folk that protest at the drop of a hat have double standards? Perhaps no standards? Or are they just saying its okay to behave in this way for one section of our population but unacceptable for others?
My late partner worked in Childrens Services for many years and would recount terrible instances of the behaviours of a certain demographic. Why no popular uprising and demonstrations against these people and their behaviours? Am I missing something or is it now just accepted as the norm? I do hope its not the norm and that our PM will sanction a full and open-ended public inquiry into these behaviours. It certainly will not be before time and to h*ll with upsetting folk. After all, much happened when he was responsible for eradicating and prosecuting the offenders but he turned away from doing so...as a certain Mr Saville would no doubt attest to!
The scary part about any politician is they worry more about their monetary futures and votes more than they worry about doing what is right regardless of the outcome, regardless if they lose their place in government. Real leaders with a moral compass are needed who will do what is right.

The problem with a local in enquiry is that the councillors who want to cover up the child abuse are able to influence the outcome and findings.
Take Telford as an example: Shaun Davies was among 10 people who signed a letter to stop an enquiry into Muslim rape gangs. Shaun was also a leader of the council during the local enquiry and coincidently there have been no accountability of the police officers, councillors, child services and others who have turned a blind eye to the child abuse.
Now: Shaun Davies is Telford and Wrekin MP. A spit in the face of hundreds of girls who have been groomed, assaulted, raped, tortured and faced reputation destruction for the past 40 years.
