I tried this method and covered the pot with polythene cover and after 2 weeks, leaves have started to grow. Thank you so much can't wait for the flowers to bloom.
Brother your presentation was excellent and your english was very pure and simple. I was a new gardener and your video was very helpful to me. Thank you bhai.
@Shraddha Rajput, Thank you so so much for your words, really means a lot to me. Sure, I would continue uploading and I have more more videos to share :-)
@Shruti Shahi, Most welcome and thank you very much for the feedback, appreciate it :-) Yeah, it actually easy and most of the times, Nursery people are not aware of everything as not all of them have their own production units. Most small nurseries just get the plants from other bigger nurseries and then sale.
I have a question- my ixora looks different the leaves are tiny compared with the one you have and the flowers are the same color but it’s definitely not as full it’s probably the soil but is there different types or is the plant just really unhappy?
It's different variety..and no worry, there is no issue with the soil and with the plants. Tiny leaves - you got the dwarf variety. They become much fuller but not taller. They are easy to care for and grows well in bit acidic soil. Glad to know it's growing in NYC too, great :-)
Fantastic. What is the st season/months for planting cuttings? At present my Ixora plant is not bearing any leaves. I pruned it two months ago.Should O wait for the leaves t o sprout. By that time it will be hot summmer. I prefe July/Aug for this job. Do you agree?o
@Vinod dikshit, Thank you very much :-) For almost all cuttings, Spring is the best time as this time all trees start producing the new leaves. So, you would be able to do it easily at the end of March and get great result. July/August is also great time as it's rainy season :-)
@Rash Raj, Thank you for your question. For Hibiscus, I just uploaded one video and you can watch it here - ruclips.net/video/LgbdIT3u_jI/видео.html For Allamanda, it's really very simple. We can do it very easily in water. I would upload the video very soon, thank you :-)
I have grown few plants from cuttings, roots are grown well after 1 month. But now the stems are becoming black though the small leaves are still green, why is the stem colour becoming darker?
@Anupam S, This is the first time I got the notification that liked my previous comment. It's crazy..LOL..why don't I get notification every time? Look like they heard me..ha ha..
Lol ...Google gone mad :D. If you post replies on different videos...it shows notification for last one only...and I have to check if you posted other replies.

What do you think about self watering containers? Especially were you are up potting a cutting?
@JLO, Haven't tried it yet but I think, it wouldn't be a very good idea to use a self watering pot for cuttings. Thank you :-)
Hey brother!
I have bought a ixora plant from nursery and planted in a pot. Should I cut flower buds from it for speedy growth or should I leave it ?
For speedy growth grow in soil not pot...
Yea u should ,if u want it bushy then u should prune yo plant
