Wow, that's a great looking beam pattern with this TIR lens - Sofirn has a winner here. I have a previous version with XP-L HI somewhere; what was great about it - that it has a regulated high mode of ~500lm. Do you know if this one is regulated? Also, do Sofirn / Wurkkos 18350 tubes fit this light?
Hello sir. I am not sure about a short tube. The juices are regulated drivers. It can stay at high mode quite long. Good boy seems to last about 2 minutes. I try High mode for 5 minutes. It steps down a little. Thanks for watching and your support sir. Please subscribe 😊🙏.

Take a look on the Wurkkos TD05. It has a regulated driver, 5000k SFT40 and runs brighter after few minutes. (I have both.)

I dont have the SP31 V3. I have TD01C 3000k and 6500k, TD04, TD05, TS22, TS32, WK03 and FC12. Today i received some SFT40 5000k emitters and all 6500k SFT40 will be replaced. TS32 already done and now the spot has nearly the same tint like the nichia 519A 5000k flood. I like it.
For me here for sure the TD05 with 5000k and an average 370m throw instead of 6500k and only 269m throw nearly flood. For flood i got the TS22 with 190m like the TS32 and for long distance throw the TD01C with its 1000m. A Torch for every case.
I dont like 6500k, because it has too much blue and is more aggresiv for the eyes. SFT40 with 5000k has a nice tint with a touch yellow and that is more pleasent for my eyes.
Beside this the TD01C with 3000k SFT40 lghts up like a bulb 😂 Really a must have long distance throw torch.
Tomorrow i will receive the mateminco FW1 LEP with 3300m throw for hardcore fun. It throws like a lightsword.
