Ya know, I would have been fine with the amount of grinding, if John wasn't constantly nerfing things used for grinding(constant barracks nerfs, reducing exp amount in elite, the "simple" infection (it spread to Oil rig) and so on...) Hell I think elite mode isn't even worth playing anymore, as the rewards no longer match the difficulty spike.
@@ramyadalwasif2527 The thing is, people weren't using expert to grind for serveral reasons; -It's difficult AF, I was only able to beat it ONCE and never again, but most players don't get past wave 30 -It has 40 waves so it takes a long time to complete -Constantly loosing is also not viable as you get way less rewards(this applies to all modes tho) All in all, it is very inefficient. I mean he did increase the gold reward...by 25 gold. Hell even John said that expert is for very experienced players, so forcing everyone to grind on it is very dumb to say the least. But I generally saw all this as unnecessery, as the game was already very grindy. I'm currently lv 83, and during my grinding trough 70s it took me an average of 4 elite wins on a HARD map to level up (it took around 5 in the 80s), so nerfing elite rewards and demoting maps essential for grinding is, as you can imagine, really annoying...

@@memoryloss.well uh that's not true, the splash is great but long reload + spam alot could counter it, in my recent test, even with 4 warship its still more struggle against crowd than top laser when most of them easily punching through ( still alive but ye.. ) while top path laser can easily kill them while being cheaper, tbh, laser and rail would perform better than warship while being same price or cheaper

Its to make ppl grind other methods like expert wasnt even touched by many bcuz of how good the elite grind was so it makes the game better
