I have a saying and a belief. We are all given countless opportunities in life. Most people don’t recognize these opportunities, and the ones they do recognize they don’t act on. Jimmy recognized his opportunities, and he acted on them. I am sure he failed at some of them, but he was very successful at others. So… if you want to be successful in life, recognize your opportunities, and act on them. If you fail at that opportunity, learn from it and act on your next opportunity. You will be successful.
Hi Spartan Crew, I'd just like to thank you for your inspiring videos. I've loved the interviews with Georgina Pazcoguin and Jimmy Chin. Your videos are so inspiring because I'm an American living abroad and have risked a lot with my own work and the striving to be all I was created to be. So, thank you again!!
I was wondering that. But I think it would be too dangerous to get high in the cicumstances they are in. And also weed makes you hungry, instead of suppressing hunger. So, no.
This was the most unprofessional interview I've ever seen. You guys literally had the chance at one of the greatest humans ever and made it look like a joke. Do your homework next time....
why so tough on the interviewer? he was just eager to get as much specifics in an allotted time. got to know Jimmy's childhood, his fam, his diet (if he's Veg like Alex), that rolling some tobacco was just a ritual and not habitual.
We are always looking to improve and could have done better. But you're right - we're interested in the things our Spartan audience cares most about:: resilience for mind and body.
worst interviewer ever...can we get someone who knows climbing? these are really the questions you ask jimmy chin? i know he wont be responding your emails in the future.....smh....def wont be following this podcast..or whatever you wanna call it.
This is a great video and I love the laidback format. Thank you for sharing!!
thanks!
The questions are ridiculous
I could barely watch it. That interviewer is an idiot.
Agree. What the fuck?
So interested in Jimmy Chin but this interviewer ruins it! Done with it after 5 minutes! Next!
the interviewer is so jealous of this dude. its written all over his face!
We admire Jimmy and his determination and success!
Spartan Up I do admire Jimmy, the interviewer is the one seemed like he wasn't, was asking stupid questions and had a Smug attitude
Massive respect for Jimmy and great interview 👍🏽
Thanks! He's amazing!
I’m sitting in mankato(his home town) and heard him say he’s from here... that’s awesome
I have been curious about the cigarettes for a long time too.
Jimmy is inherently humble.
yes!

Love this! Awesome stuff.
Thanks!
Very good. I think too much parents like me expect things to come too easy.
Yes!
Hey Joe, maybe lower the smug factor a notch for your next interview? "Parents still alive?" "Chain smoker?"
really hung up on that "chain smoking" isn't he ....
J.A.Z. And stop saying “what’s up with that?” at the end of every question...
Good interview. Would be nice if the Spartan Up logo onscreen is smaller and in the corner.
We agree, fixed in later episodes.
I think Jimmy was talking about rolling up a spliff instead of a just a tobacco cigarette

What do you expect from these Spartan clowns?
Couldnt agree more! You are in the presence of royalty, show some respect , do some research before hand ! Jimmy is epic!!
did you notice the squirrel?
Good interview.
Thanks Tom!
What a horrible interviewer

This guys is horrible at interviewing. He actually said “Alex what’s his name?”.
Couldn’t agree more
