KANDY, SRI LANKA: We're on the way and starting the road trip to Kandy! On the way we plenty of locals but some in particular really caught our eye - thousands of huge bats just chilling out in the trees next to the main road.

Hay good man Wayne, hope you two thoroughly enjoy Kandy. It's the capital of hill country of SL, the last kingdom. Lot of recent historical things you'll see going back to a couple of centuries. Secred Tooth temple is one of those. Kandy means Kanda in Sinhalese, means mountain.
Negambo is called little Rome with more Christian people.😊

you were trying to enter highway/freeway/expressway thats why scooters were not allowed. you can always turn on the bike mode in google maps so you will not be directed into highways ☺

You were in mirigama at 6:15, if you didn't take the toll road you could have used the kurunegala Kandy road ( it would be much more quicker and easier), why the hell did you get back to A1 road 😂? This would have been a tiring and long journey for you guys.
