- We're trying to take down Siren once and for all in Mission 96 of the recently released English Release of Earth Defense Force 6, played on Hard difficulty on PlayStation 5.
Mission 96: Operation Bird-Buster

Siren has stopped above the city and seems to have entered another state or dormancy.
Now that this monstrous bird has fallen asleep, it's our chance to execute the plan.
Multiple EMCs will be sent in, and we'll destroy siren with a coordinated attack.
Up in orbit, the buster is preparing to fire.
There can't possible be any living creature able to stand up to a direct hit from our high-output laser cannon.

@@cenorexia yeah just like 4.1/5 AI jankyness, it will just fly aimlessly in the air trying to hit the decoy off.
He may sometimes(?) glitch under the map as it happen to me before during the mission 92 and potentially soft-locking it.

ceno i think that glaucus creature is way more stronger than erginus because it survived the tiran depth missiles. but erginus died against the barga, and the missles are more powerful then barga

though I'll admit Glaukos is incredibly strong it killed Archelus in 2 shot not even joking it's also the most fucking annoying thing ever that not to mention the excavator that glowy bit on their head certainty looks like a weak spot but it's not!"
I admit he's incredible strong spoiler though because later we fight a 15 kilometer Lore size, Metal dragon eastern style with the same fucking time power as the godamn RING! and probably equally stupid amount of HP i hate the dam Scylla though too you need 3 consistent damage source at at-least 58 dmg per shot or you die to their poison swarm.

It's more a reference to Rodan, I believe. In _Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II_ the "Giant Monster Bird" Rodan is seemingly killed, but actually turns into "Fire Rodan" instead 🔥
@@cenorexia I'm not sure. Fire Rodan doesn't have the glowing veins of heat on it's body. I guess only the creators know for sure, though.
