- In this video I show you how to make the Double Arch Edging, an easy crochet border that only requires chains and single crochets. It's the perfect border to add around a baby blanket, scarf, or sweater. It works really well with self striping, color changing, or solid yarns.
Ask me questions or share a finished border:

Thank you, I was SO stuck on that second round of arches.
Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial. It is a pretty edging.
I really like it too! Thanks for watching!
Love the yarn bc it’s so soft. This border is beautiful!
Thank you it was really the perfect border to finish off this blanket! Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much! Thanks for watching!
Gee, I love this. Thank you.
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!
Looks so nice! Can’t wait to try it! Do you happen to know how much yarn you used for the border? Wondering when to stop the project and transition to the border to have enough yarn 🧶
I don't know off hand but it's very little compared to most borders. It was two full color changes. I might be able to estimate based on another ball. I would guess about 25-30g or so out of a 150 gram ball.
Is this the same as a candy cane border but with larger arches and without the ridiculous yarn changing?
It does look shockingly similar. I'm not totally sure why you would work those at the same time rather doing it in rounds like this border. But yes, I think you could make the same/similar border with this tutorial.
@@ExperimentsinCrafting thank you! 💕
Can you do more then two rolls
Do you mean more than two rolls for the body of the blanket or do you mean more than two rounds on the edging? The body of the blanket is fully adjustable. You can make it wider and taller as you desire. The border would be trickier to adjust, but you might be able to get a third or forth round in there by chaining more and skipping more spaces so that on the next rounds that you have more empty spaces to work into. Thanks for watching!
More then two rolls of the border
