Hey crafty gecko I just wanted to give you a head ups that the final swing figure had very stiff legs at the ball joint and I’ve seen a lot of people break theirs, I sanded them a bit so they wouldn’t break
So good those Miles mods. I was hoping to order the holding mask hands for all 3 next week, followed by 3 pairs of the toe articulated feet for the 3 Spideys. You are smashing these custom upgrades my friend😎.
I love these! The style is so clean and chill, I'm so imoressed. Great work. This figure's always been a weird one to me. They put so much effort into the sculpt but gave him pretty boring generic articulation and didn't integrate it super organically. No calf swivel, toes, limited hips. I'd suggest trimming down tht absolute corners of those thighs, like you mentioned theg jut out unnecessarily and it might help with some more range. Other than that and fundamentally reworking the torso joints, I cant see how else to improve this one. Amazing work as always
Thank you so much! I did debate cutting the thighs down but it would ruin the texture on the figure and its too fine for ms to re add. It is a shame hasbro didn't do this one justice
Hey man keep up the great work I bought a couple of things from your store and can’t wait to get them in hand! I just hope you restock the liberty crown whenever you can it was so cool looking!
Love your videos man the effort is impressive and the way that these videos aren’t hyper edited helps just actually going into what you did and being a calm voice is nice change from so many other content creators I see on here sometimes i just need a calm video to wind down
Sorry if this is a huge ask but if you get the final swing suit spiderman figure would u mind showing how to fix the hip ball joints (the ones notorious for breaking) because your vids are v helpful and that figure looks amazing and I think you could unlock its potential so to speak lol
@CraftyGecko cheers mate, is there any paints you'd recommend for the Andrew garfield spiderman red (sorry for poor grammar lol) cus I've got the single card ver but want to paint some other spiderman hands to have a set of fists and wall crawlers
Is there anyway you can think of to attach the wings? Bluetac doesn’t really work for me, it gets so hot here in the summer it just melts off and in the winter it’s so cold it looses its stickiness
The wings are so light that the heat shouldn't really effect it, you're other option would be to hot glue them on, that way it's a solid hold but they could still be pulled off
Hey man I see that you have the Figma doom slayer and you made a video back showing off your custom doom slayer in case if you don’t need that one anymore I am very very very interested to purchasing your custom
Wake up boys crafty gecko uploaded
Haha
IM UP
love watching his masterpiece
Thanks!
I can't do what you do, but I like watching you do it. Always impressive.
Thanks!
Yeah, I’ve been waiting for this
Me too, it took me a while to get round to it
Hey crafty gecko I just wanted to give you a head ups that the final swing figure had very stiff legs at the ball joint and I’ve seen a lot of people break theirs, I sanded them a bit so they wouldn’t break
Thanks for the heads up! I haven't got mine yet but I'll be sure to be careful with it
@@CraftyGecko you're welcome, I think the issue is the ball peg its on it maybe too rigid from the shape
Such an awesome upgrades. I also think you perfected the toe articulation. You need to mass produce that for the most of the spider-man figures lol
Thank you! Indo plan on making many for the spiderman figures
Hey Gecko! Can’t wait for you to bring back the painted accessories! Love your work and take as much time as you need!
Thank you!
Your videos make me wanna upgrade my figures, I love your videos man. Keep making these Marvel Legends look better than what Hasbro did!
Thank you I will!
@@CraftyGecko No problem, yay!!
will you upgrade the marvel legends spider-verse figures? and maybe some 3d printed accessories? that would be awesome!
I have done the spider punk figure and made a scarlet spider, I would like to do the rest though
@@CraftyGecko cannot wait to see what you will do with miles, miguel and spot!

Have you thought about repainting the red? It's pretty bright in the game while on the figure it looks a little dark.
I did debate it actually! I just thought it would take too much time and it would mean painting areas where there's already paint rub

Thank you so much! I do try to keep a calm atmosphere without being boring which is a very tricky line to walk
@@CraftyGeckoyeah I’m sure it is but i feel like you do a good job at it personally
Thank you, that means a lot
Like always great video. Keep up the great work.
Thanks!
With your articulated feet they can be made interchangeable and the original feet can be modified to be able to put magnets on them
Yeah that's true! I could also edit my design in the future to take magnets 🤔
absolutely killer work as usual dude!
Thanks!
Bro this is amazing!
Thank you!
Can’t you make the web wings with a. Thin piece of plastic that can slide in the butterfly joint? The friction should hold it no problem
I could but it would add a potential break point to it
@@CraftyGecko ah gotcha. Just picked up a ML Spider-Man PS5 figure, looking forward to seeing those spider arms on Etsy!

The tamiya mica red works well, that's what I use
Can you do a video of how you did it
Of how I did what part exactly? There's a lot of things i do in this video, im not sure which one you're referring to😅
@@CraftyGecko the foot joints
@@Infamous-Doom1 they're 3d prints, I designed them on my laptop and printed them off
Nice work 👍

i like it keep it up
Thanks

love the vid gecko but does this work on the ps4 miles?
Thanks, it's virtually the same body mould so I'm sure it would
Can u make a mask for miles. I have the armadillo wave miles and it would be cool if I could make him hold a mask
Yeahh I'll look into it!
Love your content
Thanks!
Hey man I see that you have the Figma doom slayer and you made a video back showing off your custom doom slayer in case if you don’t need that one anymore I am very very very interested to purchasing your custom
I dont plan on selling my custom, sorry
@@CraftyGecko it’s fine if you ever change you mind or make another to sell lmk
Thanks but even if I did you'd be looking at $200+
@@CraftyGecko OK never mind I just wanted to see if I could buy custom because I can’t afford the figma
Unfortunately the mcfarlane on its own costs more than the figma now so I'm sure you can imagine it would cost more to modify as well
Classic gecko fixing marvel figures since 2020
Gotta do hasbros job for them
Yoo when is your store open again???
Hey, it'll be open again after Christmas, most likely the 2nd of January
@CraftyGecko awesome thanks 😊 I can't wait till it's open again. I'm just saying this now your gonna make alot of money off me bro lol
Man this is so much better and it just makes Hasbro look sad
Thanks! It is a shame
I don't have a hot gun, do hair dryers work too or should I just do the boiling water method?
A hair dryer might work but I imagine the boiling water method will work quite well
@@CraftyGecko Thanks for the reply, I'll try modding my Miles Morales gamerverse (the first one with yellow lightning)
@@CraftyGeckoupdate, I already did the mods during the holidays and I gotta say thanks for this video!!! ❤️
Can this work with the old version ?
It's practically the same body so I don't see why not
Now i can to it but how did you remove the shoulder
