I just installed a 32-bit version of win7 to see if I get better fps than I currently do in win10 for some older games I still like to play from the late 90s/early 00s. It didn't disappoint!
its amazing how the old UI looks far more graphically intensive and needs very little resources to work. While the new modern UI with its flat as a Spreadsheet look needs more power such as a 9th gen processor as a start to just work properly. While having even lesser features and control then before, not to mention lack of customization entirely. Humans controlled the product before and the company provided the means to do so. Now the product controls Humans and the company decides when you will change anything about your product.
Pretty interesting beta to Windows 7. I always thought it started in RC since I got the chance to preview that version of Windows 7. I might still have my Release Candidate versions of Windows somewhere, both 32 and 64 bit versions. It's almost a near finish build of 7, the only noticeable difference was the wallpaper which had a Betta fish.
after watching this video, i downloaded it myself and its pretty cool how things looked like in 2007. everyone misses windows 7

Good 👍 + new subscriber ;)
Nice music.
The 2nd two songs are from the Windows XP tour app. Bill Brown wrote them, and the XP startup, shutdown, and other sound effects.
7 was the last " good " windows
Meh, in the later years before Win11 I'd say 10 was a good competitor for that.
8.1 Wasn't it??
