Shinee is simply iconic. You've been missing out. Some of their older videos may seem a little dated but others are just adorable. Their music is always great. And they were such young boys. Taemin was 14 when they debuted. They are particularly well known for their incredible live performances. A great one is Everybody live at the Tokyo Dome 2014.

I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop".
There is almost no group that has better harmonies and vocals than SHINee. They are one of the most well rounded groups in Kpop that excel at every aspect of the entertainment industry.. And everyone looks up to them. They are considered Idols' Idols.
SHINee's rappers are lead vocalists and their main vocalists can hold their own as rappers. There is almost nothing they can't do. The ONLY thing SHINee is not good at is lip syncing, so they avoid it at all costs. So when you hear them sing about 95% of the time it will be live. And they have trained their entire career to be able to sing live while performing really complex choreography for 3+ hours straight and always sound flawless. They have built a reputation for sounding even better live then they do in their studio recordings. And even other Idols have said, when they perform at the same events as SHINee, they are blown away by how perfect SHINee's raw vocals sound as they listen to them from backstage.

Shinee is simply iconic. You've been missing out. Some of their older videos may seem a little dated but others are just adorable. Their music is always great. And they were such young boys. Taemin was 14 when they debuted. They are particularly well known for their incredible live performances. A great one is Everybody live at the Tokyo Dome 2014.
I'm definitely starting to understand what I've been missing out on. I'll be going on the SHINee journey, for sure. I can't believe Taemin was so young when they started! I'm going to freak out when I see baby Taemin in their first MV, aren't I?
