Personally, I think ACC is not a technology. I see it as an “approval stamp” that guarantees you that the boot will work effectively in all conditions because the material allows it

    • @charleszhang656

Actually I just believe that acc is a symbol of the most expensive Nike football boots, the use of it is just not important

Almost every boot (even the takedowns) works effectively in all conditions if the studs match the ground.

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou

That’s a very different definition of ACC from when it was first introduced as a performance technology. Not to mention, what would make football boots without ACC not suitable for all weather conditions?

I wish Nike still makes a knitted upper for the superfly and teijin upper for the Vapor. Some people still prefer teijin synthetic and that would make their line up a bit more different from each other. Having $25 premium for a higher cut boot makes no sense to me but opinions may vary to other people

4 knee dislocations. All on an AG pitch. All in FG stud patterns. I am prone to subluxation due to a patellar tilt in both knees but 3 of the 4 major injuries I’ve had could have almost definitely been prevented by wearing the proper boots. I watched a Liga MX game the other day and some players were wearing SG boots on artificial grass. The ref was wearing regular running sneakers. It was a very entertaining game, despite the cringe induced by the SG boots. There were some concerning moments of players falling due to excessive grip when changing directions, but luckily no one got seriously hurt.

He’s always said go AG instead if you can only wear one, adidas AG stud pattern can be used on both field types since Nikes is more AG specific, if not get something with conical studs and it will be better than bladed studs

if you’re gonna spend 250 on one boot you’re gonna have to sacrifice either safety or proper traction,, personally i’d recommend going with something like a nike premier which has studs more suitable to both surfaces and costs half that amount, meaning you could buy another pair of mid tier boots on top of that but that’s just my opinion

Puma Future Z FG/AG, Adidas Predator FG/AG, and Mizuno FG boots in general have fairly conical studs, with Mizuno being the best.

    • @hawkwing9849

I would say get a conical stud pattern if you can only afford one. Don’t get fg bladed studs cause you can get hurt bad. However, the conical studs can still hurt you but I think that’s the best option in this situation as I think ag is not very suitable for fg, at least for Nike. Hope this helps. You can also get two cheap-mid range boots. One ag/turf and one fg.

Currently, im wearing the nemeziz 19.1s. They feel a little roomie for my liking, and also slightly long on the right foot. But in the same size(UK 9 ), the nemeziz 17.1s are snug enough, although the 17.1s have an odd shape and they slightly crush my toes together.
