CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Erin (Kristen Wiig) falls head over heels for the hunky applicant (Chris Hemsworth) for the receptionist job.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Two paranormal researchers (Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy) join forces with a nuclear engineer (Kate McKinnon) and a subway attendant (Leslie Jones) to fight off a slew of ghosts that have invaded New York City. Eventually, they come face-to-face with an evil entity who can control human beings. Chris Hemsworth co-stars as the ladies' hunky receptionist. Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) directed this reboot of the 1980s franchise; Ivan Reitman, director of both the original film and Ghostbusters II, produced.

noless the movie flopped b/c some men have issues with the fact they made a female version of Ghostbusters. People felt like it wasn’t something that should I be rebooted when in fact, it was just another fun version. The movie was hilarious and I wish they made a sequel
@@isaiahowens5322 You don't think that the awful trailer had something to do with that as well? I mean, it didn't exactly sell the movie. Since it flopped it means that women also skipped it since they make up at least half of the movie goers. I thought the movie in general was terrible and definitely worse than the original. It barely seem to have had a script since so much of the dialogue was clearly improvised, the villain was forgettable, the effects didn't impress me and all the characters were basically just stereotypes with not much personality. Very disappointing tbh.

Me too, Hemsworth was actually hilarious in the movie. Yes he's dumb, yes he's kinda cringy but I didn't mind him at all. He's still very entertaining to watch

I make no apologies. I thought this movie was very funny and it absolutely didn’t deserve any of the hate it got.
It's just competing with a serious Ghostbusters movie. It's clearly not meant to be a serious sequel to the originals, meant to be a sweet parody and I think it's hilarious.

Yes, a movie so well written, it literally forgets to develop half of the team and is so void of ideas outside of "we're not the remake" that it literally recycles the second half of the original film, only on a farm, and then has the new cast practically get overshadowed by the original three and a CGI Harold Ramis. At least this one remembered to actually develop the team and motivations outside of convenience.
I love Kevin, he is one of my favorite characters.

Honestly i enjoyed the movie enough but it's unfortunate since I've seen better from all these actors as well as the director. I think they just hyped it up too much. People are making too big a deal out of it either way. It isn't groundbreaking nor is it the end of the world. It's a movie, if you like it then that's good if you don't then don't watch it and don't worry about it.

I disagree. The original Ghostbuster movies are still immensely watchable and entertaining and any remake or addition has to compare to those. And this one compares badly. The chemistry between the original actors was superb, Sigourney Weaver added an important touch of seriousness to it that is completely absent in this one. The way NY was used as a backdrop in the original was really enticing. None of the elements that made the original movie so good are present in the new one. And it is shame because all three actresses are excellent comedians who produced some hilarious stuff for SNL
