What's up great video, I just bought Nike invincible ZOOMX, the midsole is white and I wanna black it out, can I do this boost process on ZOOMX?? Whatcha think? Anyone?
@@jaken.8119 Bought everything to do it for.. And opted not to because the white of the midsole started flaking off. Nike has to fit that.... Or offer a blacked out v.2
I went to the website, but those are only leather dyes. Is that what you mean to buy? Also, there are no options to purchase only one bottle. Please reply. Thanks.
@@ForResalePurposesOnly What's up man. I ordered the Dye and died the green soles on my Topo Athletic Runventure 2's to black. This job came out so damn professional. You have the best tutorial and system for this. I looked all over RUclips and all the vids with multiple steps were stressing me out. Thank you so much my Brother 👍
Tried the dye, it's permanent. Only downside is that I spilled it WITH the acetone while painting it. Wasn't fun considering I was stupid not to put any covering on my table. Had to use thinner to remove the dye yet some dye was still there. It's a good product yes, but please, please take EXTRA caution.
Will this work on a pair of brand new Asics? As I just bought them and I'm only allowed full black trainers for work plus these were the only ones that felt like a dream on my feet. It's hard sourcing all black shoes that will fit properly. To top it all, I'm in the UK so difficult finding something suitable to use on my shoe mid soles and bottom soles.
Hi, great video! I have a pair of vintage LA Gear Michael Jackson Sneakers, great shape but the black mid soles are faded. Would this process work to restore them? Also, what is the name of the dye you were using?
wow can't believe that there is actually a way to do this - have never liked white sole edges and that is mostly what is out there - only question is how much the dye goes for
Hi. New follower. Any knowledge of this process works on the Fresh Foam sole types on the max cushion type sneakers? I've seen a ton of different recs for white soles and what to use but nothing specific to the softer foam soles.
Yeah buddy, I gotta get sum more of that dye my self. By far, THE MOST PERMANENT DYE ON THE MARKET. I'm glad you did a shout out to Dark Knight official sole dye as well too. Big props for that.
Hey man. I'm watching this to do some different shoes. I wanted something with less steps ans easy. I think you nailed it. I'll let you know how it went. Thanks for the video my Brother 👍
@@yiorgarra It came out absolutely perfect. I was sceptical, but impressed in the end. That was a while ago and I sold the shoes. I still have the Dye and brushes I bought in case I ever get a pair of shoes that need the out soles dyed. Buying the recommended Dye is essential.
Been looking for a while for the best way to die white soles. Came across your video. AWESOME. To the point and good recommendation on the die. I subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good content! 😎🔥💯
Great video! Would this also work on other midsoles, for exampe Asics FFBlast+ and Saucony PWRRUN PB? Boost is a pre-expanded TPU foam, the FFBlast+ is EVA with Olefin (synthetic fiber), and the PWRRUN PB is PEBAX like Nike.
@@stevenparker8397 It has held up, but over time seems to have hardened somewhat. It is a top layer. So, now I use leather dye intended for footwear. It's soaked in rather than being just a top layer. I should mention I've only been using it on EVA which soaks it up like a sponge. This EVA had no finish on it. Example: Nike internationalist, Saucony Jazz, running shoes that look like they're from the early 80s. The leather dye provided a much darker deeper color black. It's more of a flat black whereas the shoe polish has a little bit of shine to it. If you use the leather dye just be aware that you want it to be very dry before you wear or handle the shoes otherwise you might have some color bleeding.
Correct! The top coat of matte black paint could chip if you decide to add that, but underneath the dye will stay absorbed in the boost midsole and will not crack! Even when the top coat does crack it will show through to the black dye so it wont' have the appearance of cracking!

Yep you should be fine as long as they're somewhat translucent. If they're a solid mold it may not take to the rubber.

can you use nail polish remover, and will this work on nike free run white midsole
yep! Nail polish remover is just essentially a watered down acetone.
