I gotta say, Arlecchino has a very interesting background. Not because of her role as a harbinger, but rather about her lineage. If you ever find the book Perinheri in game, give it a read. Also, there's an animated short about Arlecchino when she was younger called The Song Burning in the Embers. I'm not sure if you've already reacted to it yet, but I'd highly recommend it if you haven't. Yeah, the guns started showing up in Fontaine starting with Navia with her gunbrella, followed by Chevreuse with her musket, and Chlorinde with her pistols. I have Chlorinde and going pew pew pew with her has been a blast!
i'm so glad you liked emilie's! she wasn't a very popular character at least when she released, so i didn't see many people talking about her demo, but the music is SO incredibly smooth its crazy one of my fav demo OSTs for sure
My thoughts, that last part of the Chiori demo, she was picking up a piece that fell off Navia’s outfit, I skipped her for Arlecchino and I’m glad I did cuz Father slaps, also, at the breakdown part of the demo, the first child to run by was Clervie, a former friend of hers, Clorinde(pronounced Klor-and) has a unique style as she uses a pistolet, I tried to get Sigewinne(Seej-ween) but I lost the 5050 and sang a certain song, also, the demo has a “blink and you’ll miss it” moment, when she’s floating in the bubble and passes by a Fontaine passenger boat, you catch a glimpse of the next character, Emilie who I skipped as I was guaranteed my next 5 star and I waited for Natlan, Kachina is so cute and adorable, I’m currently building her as her kit centers around the least wanted stat, def, I got Mualani and she’s a great nuke, and all I can say about the Xilonen demo, she’s a way better rapper than a certain funeral parlor director in Liyue, she dropped some bars
I really recommend listening to tracks from Made in Abyss. It's from an anime, but its so worth the listen. Especially "Hanezeve Caradhina" and "Transcendance and Hanezeve" tracks. Ive only listened to the second one recently and wow, I cant even describe how beautiful and special it is. I think you'd really appreciate the musicianship of the composer, Kevin Penkin, and the vocalist thats in both of these pieces, Takeshi Saito
I love how in Xilonen's demo the song keeps changing electronic subgenres, like how it starts out as a house song, goes to trap, psytrance and dubstep too. It's so interesting
I feel like mihoyo went the extra mile with the Xilonen trailer and put an extra dose of modernism in it compared to most of the other character trailers.

He's just saying Fairytale ain't Sci-fi and those people attack him with crazy lore that sounds like convenient writing to me.
I have a mixed feeling with Xilonen's one. It looks and sounds great, but it doesn't make sense within Genshin Universe. Her trailer look like she came from ZZZ or HSR universe. Edit: it's just an opinion. I have stated some logical reasons too so chill out genshin fans.
I've never understood this take. Half of the stuff in Teyvat in more advanced than the technology we have today. The only reason it seems "out of place" is because it's familiar to us. Sumeru literally has ancient teleporting pyramid robots, but nobody cares about them. The trailers always take liberties. Like you can tell the screen behind her isn't real/canon, because it's in English and not the Teyvat script. Genshin is a part of the HoYoverse, and we'lll be seeing a lot more overlap in the future.

While Fontaine has some robots, they are still steam-powered which makes sense since they are the water nation, like the old steam industrial era. Sure Sumeru also have goggle, but it makes sense since they are the nation filled with smart people, incorporating magic with techs is just their thing. But this trailer even tho not canon it still a bit weird within Natlan theme. Unless that "Genshin x HSR x HI3" theory is real, then perhaps it makes sense a little bit
