Since I am a GoPro Plus subscriber, I tried one of their perks if it is LEGIT and true. It's the first time I requested my damaged camera replacement (Hero 7 Black GoPro Camera that I bought last 2019). All in all the process was smooth and fast and it took 2 weeks only to receive the new GoPro Camera for replacement. I am an ex-pat based in Dubai, UAE. To start with ...
1. click the link to contact GoPro
(you may change and choose the country of your current location)

2. Just follow the steps until customer service will start chatting to assist you with your request for a damaged camera replacement.
3. Be sure to have your damaged camera with you because they would ask you to upload a picture of the camera where the serial number is visible.
4. Then they would ask for some of your details like your name, email, mobile, and complete address.
5. After view days, you would receive an email from GoPro Support - with instructions on how to return the damaged GoPro camera thru a UPS courier
6. After completing the instructions. Expect another email from GoPro Support to inform you that they received your returned damaged camera and your request has been set up and should be on its way shortly.
7. a few days later, you can receive your package from GoPro Support through UPS courier
** ALL ARE TOTALLY 100% FREE, I HAD'NT PAID EVEN A SINGLE CENT **

GoPro also said to me there was a fee for 100 dollars. I said to them that I heard that others go through this process and not be charged at all, GoPro then responded with that they will replace my camera for free.
Mine is all free, I hadn’t paid even single cent. I thought there was a payment for the courier but I paid nothing
Does GoPro contact you when your old camera is at their place and are sending you a new GoPro?
