The standing on the chair 😂😂😂 I love you Lily. Just brilliant. This is why I still watch your videos after so many years. You’re just the most normal, lovely lady. Keep being you. 🩷
Funny how you said the bright blue wasn’t your color but it actually is. That blue looks so much better than the light floral dress. You need brighter more saturated colors.
The Topshop Pants are perfect actually. I’m a millennial and I cannot wrap my head around the new wide leg carrot type jeans. We were all forced to wear these late in elementary school 😖
I get it, I too feel a lot of trends are just unnecessary, but I do think that some dressing methods, like balancing out wider parts of your body does work and gives me a confidence. If I had a bigger wardrobe I'd hold on to things just incase!
Trip to Germany sounds absolutely incredible, I hope you can meet long lost relatives there too xx I know it's personal but I hope you share the highlights of the trip with us ❤
I love your style and how it’s evolving. I struggle with the concept of “flattering” I mean I want to look nice like most people do. But sometimes the idea of “flattering” feels restrictive. I’d love to hear yours and others thoughts on this. Always enjoy your content so much
I completely agree! I try to prioritize feeling good in an outfit and feeling confident- and not worrying about what ‘flattering’. It’s definitely Challenging, but I do find myself loving other people outfit and it’s never because it’s flatters their body type- it’s always because they look cool and confident ❤
Lottie does a lot of content about wearing clothes she loves even if they aren’t flattering. She always looks great because she feels comfortable and that comes through in her confidence.
@@anetabml oh I completely agree. I’m in awe of those who don’t care but so much of my confidence is in the clothes I wear..especially being plus size.
it's an interesting one for sure! I don't totally believe in it at all times, like I wear oversized stuff a lot, because I like it and it feels good. Flattering to me doesn't mean wearing something tight or figure hugging, or necessarily showing off your "best" features of your body... to me flattering means it suits me and makes me look and feel good, in any way.
For what it’s worth you are not broad in the shoulders. I think you’re really proportional in that area and that black off the shoulder dress looked great on you! I think a lot of women think they have broader shoulders than they actually do
those t shirts look good on you, especially the one with red lettering. also please dont give up on the topshop trousers, i have a feeling you'll have seller's remorse. i think they will come in handy in the near future. also love love love the me + em black flats.
The dungarees are so cute please keep them!! The nobody’s child dress I would say is a no. It’s very unflattering. Pass it on 🙌🏼 the family trip sounds incredible. I hope you all have the best time. So special to all go together. I type a list out before I pack and cross it off then keep it for the moments I freak out and start chucking things in 🤣 x
The red dress with love hearts is your color! Suits u so much! Take it to the seamstress and ask how u could alter the bottom half perhaps a little shorter or with a slit?
Great vlog💐 Very enjoyable. The shoes look great on you. They fit your style🤷🏼♂️ And thank you for sharing about your family. I hope you had a great time here in Germany 💐
I really hope you enjoyed the trip! I live in Heidelberg now and am sure you will meet lots of nice people ♥️ such a personal thing and at the same time so many lives have been effected in similar ways. It’s a strange kind of shared but individual experience. Kudos for sharing 👍
We lived in Heidelberg for seven years while my dad was stationed there (it was headquarters US Army Europe for decades, and the US Army maintained a presence there from 1947 to 2013). It is absolutely lovely. There is a song called "Ich hab' mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren," which literally means "I lost my heart in Heidelberg," and I think you will too! I really look forward to hearing about your trip (if you feel comfortable enough to share).
Video idea is to take us with you to the alteration place/tailor so we can learn what to ask for and you can make sure to get your tasks done! Double whammy! Love the content, Lily! Been subscribed since 2017!
I wish I would live in Heidelberg just to get to know you in person. Unlikely I live in a small city which is closer to Cologne/Düsseldorf. I hope you have/had a great time finding more about your granddad and some other relatives.
Just catching up on your video, I love the topshop trousers and the blue linen shirt and shorts!! I would probably wear them separately but think the colour is gorgeous on you. Also made me LOL when you said about the black and white stripes making you look like a robber 😂😂
Hey Lily - bright colours look so lovely on you - the blue and the pink. I loved the heart dress. They don't sell that Vieve make up bag anymore. V upsetting as it looks great. Enjoy your family trip - sounds fascinating xxxx
Love the t-shirt tuck tip! The French tuck/side tuck looks really weird on me, but pulling the T-shirt tighter and tucking more centrally is probably the answer! Will try out today!!
You have so many strong (beautiful) features in your face that you really suit flowy, feminine clothes! Such a nice contrast xx Thank you so much for sharing those personal infomations about your family. Very interesting to hear. Heidelberg is such a cute city! Love from Germany
Lily, my 6yo loves these yoto cards: Fairytale hairdresser (her fav) Hotel flamingo series Zoey & sassafras series Who’s in your audiobook? Any brain bots or ladybird audio adventure cards
The red dress looks beautiful, could you get it taken up, it suits you so much, and I loved the white jeans. But I am the first one to say, we all see ourselves and get to know what we feel confortable in❤❤❤
Don’t get rid of the beige linen/cotton! Natural fibers can be tinted super easily in the washing machine, by buying the clothing tint in the supermarket
Hi Lily, can I ask which jeans you are wearing at the beginning of the try on when you first put on the new me+em shoes? Also the which style are the M&S jeans in that same part of the video? Thanks👖 ❤
Love the Nobody's Child "love hearts" dress on you! Def a keeper. Hope you and your family have a nice visit to Germany connecting with your roots! Sending you and your family good vibes! So confused about Louise Thompson's book - it must be about the birth of her child and not her birth, right?
How do you like the short hair so far? Also, people believe what they believe about their self image and this won’t probably change anything but you do not have broad shoulders. You look gorgeous in that dress. The sleeves are too puffy but that’s it. You have the perfect proportions for off shoulder.
Sorry I’m so late to this party. Love the linen top shop trousers but not the mesh shoes, they’re so strange ! But if you like them and they’re comfortable, that’s all that matters 😊
I really don't love the focus on "flattering." I think that & Other Stories playsuit, for example, looked super cute and comfy! I can totally picture that with like a fun colored shoe and tank and earrings. Just because something is shapeless doesn't mean it makes you look bad. I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I am 100% for comfort. Clothes that I am comfy in are the clothes that make me feel confident. Obv there's a middle ground where ideally you love the way something looks and feels-and I definitely have that goal-but I just don't love only considering flattering-level (is that even a thing lol). It's one thing for you to feel confident in something, but that doesn't necessarily have to mean flattering. Or maybe it's just the word flattering. I say things look nice on me sometimes. Ack I'm bumbling on here. Best of luck with summer dressing, everybody :)
I 100% agree with what you are saying. We all focus so much on flattering rather than what you feel comfortable in. It’s like you a dressing for someone else rather than yourself. I love that & other stories play suit and I also think that it is perfect for summer parenting!
I'm interested in dual German citizenship / passport. I'm british. German grandmother. Does any one know if a grandparent qualifies for the citizenship. Or must it be a direct parent?. Sorry couldn't see if Lily shared this info. I saw she had passport on insta. Thank you
I absolutely HATE those shoes 😂😂😂 i dont think they suit anyone ever anywhere 😂 so i really can’t give an ”real opinion” here cause i just dont like them on anyone 😅
The standing on the chair 😂😂😂 I love you Lily. Just brilliant. This is why I still watch your videos after so many years. You’re just the most normal, lovely lady. Keep being you. 🩷
The topshop trousers definitely still suit you!
Funny how you said the bright blue wasn’t your color but it actually is. That blue looks so much better than the light floral dress. You need brighter more saturated colors.
100% cant agree more ! The blue is absolutely your colour 🥰
@@mugeturner9195 agreed xx
The Topshop Pants are perfect actually. I’m a millennial and I cannot wrap my head around the new wide leg carrot type jeans. We were all forced to wear these late in elementary school 😖
I'm Gen X. And have never understood wide legged/flared pants. I didn't like them when I was young. All these years later I still don't like them. Lol
I get it, I too feel a lot of trends are just unnecessary, but I do think that some dressing methods, like balancing out wider parts of your body does work and gives me a confidence. If I had a bigger wardrobe I'd hold on to things just incase!
You can dye the linen pieces. The blue set would look great in a darker blue and the beige you can more or less dye any colour because it’s so light.
Sounds like an amazing family trip! 😊
The red one with hearts always looks SO good on you, but especially with shorter hair
yes that dress really suits you, just needs an iron! KEEP
Trip to Germany sounds absolutely incredible, I hope you can meet long lost relatives there too xx I know it's personal but I hope you share the highlights of the trip with us ❤
Your family trip sounds so special! I hope it’s meaningful.
I love your style and how it’s evolving. I struggle with the concept of “flattering” I mean I want to look nice like most people do. But sometimes the idea of “flattering” feels restrictive. I’d love to hear yours and others thoughts on this.

For me the confidence definitely comes from the fact that the clothes I wear are flattering. If it's not good for my body type I won't feel confident

LILY, keep the topshop trousers!!!
The love heart dress is gorgeous on you! ❤
I just can’t get on board with the shoes 😂 I think they’re the kind of thing you’ll look back on in 20 years and wonder what you were thinking 😅
I know it's populare right now but to me it's what we all had when we were 10 and got dressed up ^^ So no thanks!
The red love heart dress is so nice! I really think reds and pinks suit you the most x
The dungarees are so cute please keep them!! The nobody’s child dress I would say is a no. It’s very unflattering. Pass it on 🙌🏼 the family trip sounds incredible. I hope you all have the best time. I love the ‘love hearts’ dress ☺️ the colours look so flattering on you. I don’t think it looks too business. It’s so fun!
Love the blue linen set. Keep it and wear them separately with other patterns. Also, the v neck wrap dress was so flattering on you!
The red dress with love hearts is your color! Suits u so much! Take it to the seamstress and ask how u could alter the bottom half perhaps a little shorter or with a slit?
Absolutely LOVE the Me + Em pumps on you Lily. Hope you have/had a wonderful trip with your family to Germany x
Great vlog💐 Very enjoyable. The shoes look great on you. They fit your style🤷🏼♂️ And thank you for sharing about your family. I hope you had a great time here in Germany 💐
loved the blue co-ord on you. blue in my opinion is your colour xxxxxx
I really hope you enjoyed the trip! I live in Heidelberg now and am sure you will meet lots of nice people ♥️ such a personal thing and at the same time so many lives have been effected in similar ways. It’s a strange kind of shared but individual experience. Kudos for sharing 👍
Red dress fits you the best. V neck makes you bigger.
Playsuit is fun...would wear it with a tshirt/sleeves
All those strong colours really suit you.

I say keep those top shop white jeans !

You could get the red heart dress altered, taken up and turned into a not to short mini dress!
Hope you guys are safe around Heidelberg. Soooooo much rain. Danger. Please have a closer look to that .
I was the same buying neutral colours and I got round it by dying it brighter colours so maybe you could do that . Great vlog
That passport can't be forgotten ❤😅
Just a suggestion for the jeans: you can try to dye them in a darker colour to mask the patches 😉
So exciting for u guys going to getmany!!!!

Take it to get altered?? ! It's only a button and a press stud!!!!
I wouldn’t be able to do it myself, I’d be too scared I’d rip the material 😅
I actually think that love hearts 💕 dress is very nice on you, you wear it well, Lily. Do not throw it away please. 😊
Plus, she can always take it to a seamstress - they do wonders to make you dress more you.
I hear ya! Size 8 feet over here 😄
Love you Lily! 🥰

The dotted dress 😘
Loved the video

Oh the lovehearts dress is so cute BUT how about getting it shortened? That opens up the shape abit :)
Sorry I’m so late to this party. Love the linen top shop trousers but not the mesh shoes, they’re so strange ! But if you like them and they’re comfortable, that’s all that matters 😊
I also think the T-shirt with red lettering and play suit is lovely on you

Play suit is lovely on you and best dress is the red with love hearts
That blue is your colour .
omg, you are next to where I live :D omg, I would love to bump into you.
Lily your lucky to be tall with a size 40 shoe ...Im a 39 /40 but im only 5 foot 3 ...🤦♀️🤦♀️
Loved the gilee outfit w the mesh flats.i think k those white trousers you tried on before are just a size or two too big tho
Your trip sounds really interesting. Do you speak german? 😊
With that cute heart dress. You can make a blouse out if it
keep the trousers
Lilly Pebbles why do you not have a full length mirror in you room 😳
I do but it’s opposite the window so I can’t film in it as the light is behind me and will make me too dark
I'm interested in dual German citizenship / passport. I'm british. German grandmother. Does any one know if a grandparent qualifies for the citizenship. Or must it be a direct parent?. Sorry couldn't see if Lily shared this info. I saw she had passport on insta. Thank you
Probably in a year or two the more narrow legs are back so it can be a good idea to keep a pair 😅
Keep the cropped trousers
hey!
❤❤❤
Big foot insecurity here too but getting better at accepting it. I wear US 9
You do NOT have broad shoulders...at all!
Don’t sell the topshop pants!! They look great on you!
Really not keen on the shoes, no offence!! Just look like nans slippers 🥶
I absolutely HATE those shoes 😂😂😂 i dont think they suit anyone ever anywhere 😂 so i really can’t give an ”real opinion” here cause i just dont like them on anyone 😅
The mesh shoes look horrible on everyone!!! I don't understand why they're so popular 😕 🙄 😐 Also I love the cobalt blue set on you!! 👍🏽
Love it all except the pale blue Topshop dress & the Nobody's child red pink heart dress 👎
Not everything needs to be flattering!
Really don’t like shoes soooo expensive 😮
Dump the dress 🤷🏼♀️
❤❤
