Eine saugeile Band und macht auch noch richtig gute Musik :D Nein im Ernst, Lord of the Lost sind einfach klasse. Dazu kommt, dass die auch noch selbstironisch sein können und das Herz am richtigen Fleck haben. Bin gespannt auf Swan Songs III und auf das kommende neue Album weil Thornstar war schon ein richtig gutes Album.

As a North American, I can honestly say that to most people, yes, Rammstein IS the only German band we are ever exposed to. Unfortunately, not many European bands get air time over here. Luckily for me, I'm a nerd and I'm happy listening to what most people I know just can't understand or wrap their mind around--because they have never heard anything like it before. (So to them, it can't possibly be good.) I personally like songs that DON'T sound like they are top 40 and so I am always looking for new stuff here on RUclips. I only stumbled upon European metal about a year and a half ago. I fell instantly in love with it! (This is where my nerd self comes through: I am happy to say, I know so LITTLE about it, that I am not influenced by what other people think I SHOULD decide is good. I just like what I like by how it sounds.) Anyways, I'm glad there is more than one band from Germany! (and a shout out to Mono Inc. who led to to not only LOTL, but also Joachim Witt and Tilo Wolff.) And after that long winded response, "Hello & bonjour from Canada, eh!"

Sorry! I can't think of anything insulting for a t-shirt. I enjoy their music very much. At worst they are sweet and adorable, at best drop dead sexy. They are very entertaining on and off stage. TV of the Lost is a guaranteed smile every time you watch an episode. The Lord-shop takeovers are entertaining as well. The Lordcasts are great listening practice. I admit I do miss the live Instagram Q and As. I can't wait for the SS III release concert! My first Lord of the Lost concert.😊

Well I’m 50 years old now and have predominantly listened to metal and rock most of my life. However I sometimes like to chill with a little classical music, I’m not adverse to a little 70’s disco, I love Scottish folk music and I think Lady Gaga is a Queen. If there is one thing I have learned through the decades it’s this, if a song is good then it’s good regardless of genre…and LOTL have quickly become one of my favourite bands. You’ve taken your rightful place beside my faves Paradise Lost and Rammstein. As we say in Scotland, those haters can ‘get tae f*ck’ 😁

Lorelei ist unglaublich, hab mich sofort beim ersten Anhören in den Song verliebt! Bin aber leider kein großer Fan von ihren anderen Liedern :/

Hab gar nicht gewusst das Lotl Deutsche sind. Die Jungs sind irgendwann im Mai in meinem RUclips Mix aufgetaucht und ich muss sagen, da hat der Algorithmus mal recht gehabt mit dem Vorschlag.
Zumindest kann ich mal auf nen Konzert denke ich, im Hellraiser (Leipzig) oder Hirsch (Nürnberg). Sofern diese Corona Scheisse mal vorbei ist.

So on the subject of them being a boy band and such, when are we going to get a studio release of Everybody? They kill that track and I wish there were better alternatives than the variable quality live performances folks have uploaded to youtube. Not that I'm not grateful because I never would've known they did it otherwise, but I'd love to have them record in studio and throw it up on bandcamp or put it out as a single.

What's happening here is Lord Of The Lost is getting so big there is becoming a more broader range of listeners and therefore you have the "haters" I do not see how people think they sound like Rammstein??? I've listened to Rammstein since 1998, and Lord Of The Lost since 2011 and see no comparison at all. I am a fan of Rammstein, but there is more than one band in Germany. But of course, as an old metal fan, I also voted for LOTL. But I think, I would have voted for any other metal band. 😂

Well I’m 50 years old now and have predominantly listened to metal and rock most of my life. However I sometimes like to chill with a little classical music, I’m not adverse to a little 70’s disco, I love Scottish folk music and I think Lady Gaga is a Queen.
If there is one thing I have learned through the decades it’s this, if a song is good then it’s good regardless of genre…and LOTL have quickly become one of my favourite bands. You’ve taken your rightful place beside my faves Paradise Lost and Rammstein. As we say in Scotland, those haters can ‘get tae f*ck’ 😁
